We had a great experience with PuppySpot. Great communication from the beginning to end. Our puppy was safely delivered on the date agreed upon. We are absolutely in love with our puppy. She is healthy and we can tell it was raised with love. They also send a care package with lots of goodies. That was a sweet touch. The only reason I don’t give 5 starts is because they have a policy for updating new pictures of the puppy every 2-3 weeks only. I practically had to beg for pictures as I was feeling anxious about the whole situation. I think a weekly picture update is not unreasonable for new parents. Other than that, great experience.

The first person I talked to was great. Answered my questions and sited her own experiences as examples I thought I was going to get a call from the travel people but only ended up with repetitive and conflicting emails. Ex she’s coming on this date, we’ll be scheduling her to arrive between these dates, she’ll be coming this day-different from the first email. I thought she was coming with a nanny. I ended up finding out She was coming cargo. Information said she’d be in a pressurized crate. The crate was a normal plastic crate with holes for breathing. that’s not a pressurized anything. Maybe the area of the plane was pressurized but the crate wasn’t. I was stunned that a little 4 lb baby would be sent in cargo. How scary can anything be with all the noise, etc. she was a mess - not clean and groomed. I was appalled by her condition. She looked like a very poorly kept puppy She’s adorable and is getting more confident with my pack everyday. We’re all settling in

We understand your concerns about the communication regarding your pet's travel arrangements. It sounds like there were some inconsistencies and unclear information provided, which can be frustrating. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Puppies travel in a pressurized area of the plane in regular airline approved travel crate. Unfortunately, puppies can get a bit messy from travel but a quick wash can get them smelling and looking fresh again! We are glad to hear that your pet is settling in well with your pack. The people we talked with were very helpful, and a joy to talk with. They had lots of good knowledge. The only issue I had was we were told she would be with a travel companion and that was not true. She was shipped cargo.

We have an amazing puppy! She’s healthy, super friendly and loving dog. The process was easy, but make sure not to change your mind, as the refund policy is very strict.

Their delivery system makes me question their morality and how they think about the welfare of their puppies. I chose a delivery near by.. they did not call me in advance but scheduled my puppy on a flight for mid day on a Wednesday for a flight an hour from my house. I’m just out of surgery and I should not even be driving that far nor should I really be taking more time off work. They had o solution versus suggesting I find a friend.. I don’t have a friend who can pick up the dog in the middle of the day either. There was no option to pivot to deliver near home. I was just left to sort this out myself. In future I will pivot to using an organisation who checks someone is available to pick up a puppy (they are like kids after all) before booking them on an aircraft

We are sorry to hear about your less than perfect experience with the delivery scheduling of your puppy. We try to be as clear as possible regarding the three delivery options available to people interested in adopting from us. There is an option to have a puppy delivered to your door, but it is the most expensive one. You appear to have opted for the delivery program that does require some travel on the customer's part. We are working with our delivery travel partner to be able to provide our customers with more timing options to fit their schedules. We are also revisiting the language on the website and with the customer representatives to minimize any future confusion. Again, our sincerest apologies for putting some much of the onus on you. It was not our intent.
