I have had a really tough time with communication with anyone through this process and I also feel like my puppy didn’t arrive in the best condition( no fault to the transport) he was absolutely filthy and he is VERY skinny. I have no medical or vaccination records for him either. I feel like I received so many calls and emails trying to sell me more things after my purchase than information about the actual dog which I feel is so much more important than money making off all the partner companies affiliated with puppy spot. I have had a lot of dogs in my life and I have always been able to be in contact with the breeders along the way and after to ask any questions necessary and that is not the case with the puppy. He’s lovely but everything else about the experience was just way below average for me. Update I was contacted by puppy spot and they explained they handle communications a little differently than some others, as far as the breeders go so if you want to have contact with your puppies breeder then this is not the place for you. They were very helpful about getting my vaccination records for me and copies of his wellness exam so that solved a big problem for me. Overall they were helpful in sorting out one problem and informing me of the way the handle things on another one which I greatly appreciate. I appreciate their customer service but maybe not so much their policies.

Waiting for my puppy to arrive next week. I purchased the PuppySpot Puppy Concierge service to be delivered within 20 miles of my home. I thought that would be fine until I received my pickup date and time. Pickup place and date were fine. But the time was 10:30 PM! I am supposed to drive not only late at night to a place I've never been. Then drive home again. No one said it might be after dark. NO Help with timing. Except pay more for home delivery.

Puppy Spot lies. They promise "no puppy mill" guarantee and you cannot speak with the breeder until after your dog is delivered. Only to find that the breeder has no clue who your dog is. They have 91 dogs at a time. They promise "humane and safe" transport of your pet to avoid anxiety and issues. Our puppy was put on a van with no windows with 20 other dogs for 3 days from Indiana to CA. We asked a lot of questions and never got this info. She came screaming, crying, pull of poop and puke. Absolutely traumatized as they obviously yanked her out of her crate every 4 hrs. for 3 days to put her on a pad to go to the bathroom. They delayed her delivery b/c they obviously were needing to maximize profits to be sure and have at least 15 dogs in the van from Indiana to CA. We have now spent $2,500 with a trainer so far b/c she was fearful of people. No 4 mo. old puppy acts like she did. At 4 months she started limping. She has a congenital defect b/c of the breeder with the same parents breeding constantly who are passing on a genetic defect Havanese might have. So instead of socializing and training, she had to be in a cone and has had to be in a crate for 3 more months to not injure the surgery. Am sure there will be some OK puppies but do not trust a thing about what is advertised. These people need to be shut down. They are not truthful.
