No Good pet insurance Pumkin Pet Insurance
I am. I have been paying a $150 for the last 3 years. For pet insurance that has done nothing for me, but take take and take. I've submitted claims recently for my dog having surgery and $700 of the money that I paid went towards deductibles, and then I got denied my claims to the sum of $1500 I would never recommend pumpkin to anybody. If you need pet insurance.. I would seriously look elsewhere.. I'm not just disgruntled about these people. I'm so p***** off. They've done nothing for me in 3 years. But take take take and then because my dog turn 13 years old they upped my premium From a $115 a month to a $150 a month I hope they go out of business. I hope I hope everyone knows. What a terrible pet insurance place this is

Hi Maria, we definitely understand it can be frustrating when a claim is not approved. Like most providers, we do not provide coverage for pre-existing conditions. This means that if something occurs, or was showing signs or symptoms prior to enrollment or during the waiting period, it would not be eligible for coverage. This includes conditions that are related to, secondary, or resultant from a pre-existing condition. Once a claim is filed, it is then processed by a Pumpkin claims team member, all of which have a veterinary medical background. Our claims team uses medical records and documentation provided by your veterinarian in order to determine coverage eligibility. Keep in mind that while we may not be able to offer coverage for pre-existing issues, new unrelated accidents or illnesses may be eligible for coverage. If you need any further assistance, you can reach our care team by phone or chat during business hours, or email us anytime.
