I was disappointed that Ellie's…
I was disappointed that Ellie's medications were not covered. We went to find out why she was limping and we did but unfortunately I hesitate to even submit the bill as I expect it will be denied. We didn't know the results of her exam before we went. Therefore I do not see how it could be pre-existing. I have read you disqualifications and do not agree with them. I probably will not continue this after the year I signed up for.

Hi Myla,like most providers, we do not provide coverage for pre-existing conditions. This means that if something occurs, or was showing signs or symptoms prior to enrollment or during the waiting period, it would not be eligible for coverage. This includes conditions that are related to, secondary, or resultant from a pre-existing condition. Once a claim is filed, it is then processed by a Pumpkin claims team member, all of which have a veterinary medical background. Our claims team uses medical records and documentation provided by your veterinarian in order to determine coverage eligibility. Keep in mind that while we may not be able to offer coverage for pre-existing issues, new unrelated accidents or illnesses may be eligible for coverage. Pumpkin is remarkable
Pumpkin is a wonderful choice for your pets insurance. They have unparalleled customer service, and work faster than you could ever imagine. Our last claim was paid to use within 7 minutes of submitting it!!! Absolutely unbelievable service, and this was on a Sunday no less!

Pumpkin is a must for pets
I love the quick response, review and settlement of my claims. Our fur babies deserve the best medical care when needed, however, the upfront cost may deter some people. So having Pumpkin is really helpful and takes the financial burden away for any major medical treatments.
