PubbyReviews of pubby.co

Unfortunately, there is no way to leave a zero. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS SERVICE. They take your money and do not produce the promised reviews. Amazon rejects most of the reviews you do get. this is a total ripoff

This website used to be great, but it has gone downhill. Most of us are unable to receive reviews for our books. It seems the only people who's books are being reviewed are new customers. New customers BEWARE...all the book reviews you are receiving won't last long. If you still want to try this website DO NOT PURCHASE THE ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION to avoid wasting all that money. I've literally been waiting MONTHS for my book to be reviewed. Pubby is continuing to take our money without providing their advertised service, which seems illegal. They give excuse after excuse when I email them. They don't seem to care. Being a small family-owned business is no excuse to provide such horrible service and then hide when customers start asking for answers. I have unsubscribed and will contact the reviewer who stated they contacted a lawyer.

Blew my mind how easily people buy $4.99 books. I tried many other ways, such as advertising, social media and so on, but none led to as instant same day sales as when pushed on pubby for some nobody author!

Do not waste your money and time on pubby! It is the most frustrating and worst run company ever! The customer service is almost non existent and they don’t stand by their money back guarantee. So you literally will throw away your money! Spend it on better companies!

Pubby is the worst service right now. I'm trying to get my money back for a year's subscription. Or books sit in line for a month, likes aren't transferred to Amazon, and support never responds. You send a letter and get a response in two weeks, written by a worker. I don't recommend it, it's a waste of money.

Pubby.co has a solid concept in theory. The idea of exchanging book reviews through a credit system is appealing for authors and readers. However, the execution is deeply flawed. The platform is plagued with technical issues, and the support team is almost nonexistent. When problems arise and you try to escalate them, you often receive automated responses instead of real help. The review verification system is unreliable, and users are now being penalized for reviews they’ve already completed simply because the system fails to detect them. Snaps (credits) are deducted unfairly, and you’re forced to manually prove your Amazon reviews over and over again. It’s become more hassle than it’s worth. Unless they completely overhaul the platform, it’s best to look for alternatives. I've cancelled my subscription after they couldn't get it together. It just kept getting worse.

Platform is OK. I subscribed for one year and uploaded one book for which 15 verified purchase reviews were received. I paid US$204 annual subscription ($240 - $36 one-time 15% discount) and US$14.99 listing fee, so each review cost around US$15. Pubby offered a good amount of snaps (over 10K) when I signed up. Then I spent around US$27 in total on buying books to earn more snaps and explored different genres. I usually chose cheap books that offered a longer duration. I had a tight budget and read slowly. A lot of pop-up notifications each time I signed in. Unlike most other companies, there was almost no communication initiated from Pubby to acknowledge and confirm changes on account and subscription except for problems on reviews. In April 2024, they automatically charged full amount after the 15-day free trial. I reached out to provide the discount code, and a refund of 15% was credited back to my card within a week. In September 2024, they emailed me saying a review I had submitted was not verified purchase so the snaps were deducted. After supplying proof of purchase, Pubby reimbursed the snaps as "a gesture of good faith", again within a week. Not sure why Amazon didn't show it as Verified Purchase. When I requested reviews for my book, I was concerned that some readers might carelessly use direct link on Pubby to make book purchases thus potentially causing red flags on my account. My account is still fine as of today. My book got picked fairly quickly initially. The interest waned after 15 reviews, and I stopped. My overall experience was smooth with some issues that were resolved quickly. So neutral with 3 stars.

Real trash . I purchased and made for grow review. Result? I was taking fake bad review from competitors for shot down my score. I asked support and they were say they couldn’t do anything. You want to leave bad reviews? Than at least real review ! Absolutely don’t use that
