I am giving pubby three stars today because I had a good experience in the past and honestly hope pubby recovers soon and gets back to where it was only months ago. It's true that customer service has always been slow, but it's only a small business and in the end it was reliable. Lately it took a lot longer to get an answer but I can confirm that I personally got a solution for my problem. I easily found readers in the past. Even when a verified purchase was necessary... lately it was literally impossible to get verified reviews and even for the standard version it's hard to find readers. I have never had a problem with payments so far. There is a monthly subscription option which has to be selected before signing up. It's not cheap and you have to read lots of books to earn your snaps, but that's the way those platforms work and I'm grateful it exists. I sincerely hope more readers will return and customer service will recover before long.

No results. Cancelled subscription right away. Got charges $240. Still waiting for the refund. No response from the team exempt the auto response.

I've been with Pubby for six months and have, so to speak, got into the hang of it. It's worked well for me. I review other people's books, they review back. So far all the reviews I have received have been realistic, and reasonably flattering. Okay, the messaging system is pretty dire and don't expect personal intervention. But I'll still give it five stars is a site which does what it promises

I just joined Pubby and handed over my credit card details. Straight away, I was suspicious — they didn’t even ask for my manuscript. Then I found I couldn’t log in, and the system didn’t recognise me, despite my payment details (credit card) going through. Worse, I received no response from Pubby when I tried to get help. In the end, I had to cancel my credit card to protect myself — what a hassle. Don't get caught like I did. Stay well away from these people!

Well, customer service is awful. Out of six emails I sent them, they replied one. At least the one they replied was about a refund I was requesting, and they gave me my money back. Also, I am not getting 5-10 reviews per week, I'm lucky if I get three. So... I suggest you all look for other platforms. I'm gonna give it a chance one month more.

I never signed up for annual subscription I know for a fact that is was monthly and was still charged for annual which is $240. It says customer service will get back with you in 24-72hrs and it's been 1.5wks and no response to my messages or emails. Do not use this site unless you wanna get scammed!

I’ve had 2 books on Pubby for weeks with no readers. I believe they’re punishing me because I was insistent that they reinstate snaps for a review I did a month before. Their customer service no longer exists. They do not respond.

I agree, stay far far away. they take your money from your account unauthorised and then no customer service. I have tried emails and on the website. Just silence and my book doesn't get picked up for reviews. So there you have it - you going to pay a lot of money and get NOTHING for it and also no response. This is a scam! Shame on you Pubby.co
