This company is a SCAM! I enrolled in the "Trial Period" and realized afterwards that wasn't anything I wanted to get involved with. The instructions on their website said cancelling was easy just go to settings and choose cancel subscription. There is no such option. Their email address is not good either. It was not able to be delivered. They list the email address and it IS ALSO FAKE. RUN FROM THIS VENDOR

We use this for books and I love it. I truly try to read as many as I can before I review them. If I don't like them you turn them in. Great product.

dont use this service. all pubby users are self publishers and will leave you mediocre or negative reviews. they are the same users who click 1000 times on your ADS to make you spend everything unnecessarily. don't use Pubby.

So, Pubby in their ultimate wisdom have decided to remove me from their platform. They said my conduct on their site wasn’t up to their exacting standards and that they had made the “difficult decision” to remove me. This having done at least one review a day since joining a few months ago. I had a difficulty at the start with something and nearly didn’t go with Pubby but they gave me a good knockdown of the yearly price. There are a few odd things about Pubby. They insist on a six-hour gap between buying the book and leaving a review even though the book (a children’s book for instance) may only have a reading time of an hour. Furthermore they limit how many books you can order from their library system, stating they need to give all users a chance of getting a book? Huh? These are ebooks remember, not physical copies. They don’t like it when you talk back at them. They’re very quick to blame you if you have a genuine problem posting the review - oftentimes they’d put the blame on your shoulders when clearly it was a problem with Amazon. There were also issues over book purchases and conflicts between different Amazon platforms. I think Pubby would be happy if their reviewers behaved like recalcitrant schoolchildren rather than proper grownups. As to their termination I was about done with Pubby anyway. I do have some new titles coming later in the year but there are other review options. Their termination policy includes keeping your yearly fee and they notified me in three ways; 1. We’re sorry you cancelled your membership. Could you be good enough to explain why? Sure, no problem. I didn’t cancel anything. 2. We’ve terminated your membership of this site because you have breached some Amazon rule. Oh, what rule? They couldn’t answer that one. Strange how I had heard nothing from Amazon about breaching their rules. 3. You’ve been terminated because of your conduct on the site. A word of advice to Pubby: treat others as you would expect to be treated yourselves. I’ll ’smart mouth’ anyone that gives me grief and your staff at Pubby certainly know how to give a person grief.

I've been using Pubby for 1 year and I've had great success with their platform. I enjoy reading books so this helps me earn points and get others to review my book. The steps are simple to get reviews, It works for me.

DO NOT USE PUBBY! I did a trial subscription. I uploaded my book and completed two reader reviews, as well. (Reader reviews are the way to earn "snaps" or credits to obtain more reviews from other writers on Pubby's platform). Even though I completed the reader reviews and they were published on Amazon, I got messages in Pubby that they were incomplete/past due. (I see this in a lot of their customer complaints). As a result, this paused my ability to find additional readers for book. I reached out to customer service in the chat and via email. I only got bot responses, which, clearly, couldn't resolve my issue. The email response I inevitably got admonished me for submitting duplicate help tickets & never addressed my issue. WORSE, I discovered that Pubby billed me $197 for a full-year subscription, even though I cancelled the trial due to frustration. (I only used Pubby for the trial period, less than a week, actually). I had to call my bank to file a dispute. This is unfortunate. I like the idea of Pubby and was excited when I started it. I would have continued if it were a legit site with real customer support. It's a big BOO here. One start is generous!

Simple. They offer a free trial. I accepted and cancelled well before required. They charged me for two months but refunded me one month. The reason the would only refund one month was because the first month was past 30 days even though I cancelled my trial. Glad I discovered it when I did because they would have kept charging me but would only refund a month. What a scam. Pass on this one.
