My autism assessment was clear and focused. The test itself was difficult to sit through but was made as easy as it can be for needing to be asked so many questions. Having the childhood interviewer be helpful was hard at my age since my parents both passed. My son, who knows me well, could represent me as I have been recently well. The recommendations after the assessment were very useful, especially about finding counseling in relationships to help work through my very different perspective on the world and meanings.

I am grateful for having this experience as an option to directly assess and understand where I potentially fell on the spectrum. The process was easy to follow to prepare for the assessments and I sincerely appreciated the quality of care within the conversations I had for the assessment and post-assessment report. I would highly recommend this service and experience for anyone that has been on the fence about wanting to know if Autism is a part of their life - ultimately to get to the best support you need!

I had anxieties about being assessed coming in stemming from long term trauma from health care providers. Compounded by not having people in my life that were around when I was 3-5. Despite that, it was a positive experience. I felt seen for the first time in a clinical setting and I can’t thank prosper health enough for making the process quick and affordable.

This group and all of its team members guided me patiently along the whole process. I had no idea what I was doing when I signed up for an autism evaluation. They made it as painless and streamlined as possible. No strange social expectations that you find in a lot of medical offices around here in SE USA. Just patience, kindness, and compassion here. My evaluator was down-to-earth and direct, which is exactly what I was seeking when I chose who to schedule with. He made me feel reassured about the whole process and was very positive upon diagnosis. They estimate what it will cost with insurance, they even promise to lock in that price if insurance is too slow to respond. Mine was, so I paid the estimated cost (which was remarkably affordable compared to other facilities). They even refunded what my insurance had approved to cover after the fact, which was a huge help. They don’t want your money—they want to help, and that’s saying a lot these days.

I really liked that my therapist was also autistic. I have had issues my entire life, and really no one understood me. Finally, my therapist was there and she did understand me. I almost cried when overcome with relief.
