Excellent quality clothes, customized to me and a pretty good price

Company provides videos on how to measure shirts / slacks you'd like made. It's a nice service to get a free "second chance," to take delivery of a shirt, try it out and then be able to figure out what, if any, changes need to be made to measurements to get a perfect fit. It's also nice that you can order samples of different fabrics to see how you might like them before ordering clothes using that fabric.

It is not really obvious until you get deep into the selection process just how many options you have in designing a Proper Cloth shirt. I have been able to design my shirts to be exactly what I want in terms of the cut and design - including some features that are hard to find in ready-made clothes (like no breast pocket). If you are not already familiar with the fabric you choose, read the information provided about the fabric carefully -- including the weight and the tendency to wrinkle (or not). I would say that paying attention to the fabric info is the most important thing. If you don't like to iron, you are not going to wear a linen shirt. If you strictly follow their instructions regarding measurements, you will get a perfectly fitting shirt. I fudged on measurements on my first shirt and screwed it up. Following their instructions, all of my subsequent shirts have fit perfectly. Because the site saves your measurements and design preferences, ordering more shirts is easy. The shirts arrived well packaged and protected. Depending on the fabric, these custom made shirts are only slightly more than I was paying for off-the-rack at stores. If you like lightweight, soft flannels, their Japanese flannels are terrific.

The products are of excellent quality. They really do feel premium, and the ability to order made-to-measure and return/remake at no cost justifies the price. They also have an amazing amount of customizing options.

No better place to shop for custom clothing. Great customer service and all around experience. Went to the showroom when I was in New York last year and was blown away!

Reasonably priced, high-quality shirts. You need to go in to a shop to get fitted. Otherwise, if you don't care about your shirts fitting you perfectly you don't need to. People who like shirts that are too big/baggy can just do it all online.
