AWFUL experience, but customer service was top notch.
The parking experience was terrible. For whatever reason, even after entering the license plate number (I was driving my husband's car this particular day) and processing the payment, the payment was applied to the car associated with my phone number instead of the actual vehicle i was parking and paying for. This resulted in me getting a $75 bill sent to my home, even after paying $11.50 for less than 2 hours of parking in Mobile, AL, not like Los Angeles or New York City. I paid less in big bustling cities and had none of this hassle. After sending in my proof of the posted payment on my bank account i was told this was insufficient evidence for my PAID parking!! And if I didn't pay in 3 days time I would end up having to pay over $100 in additional late fees!! All this after already having done my part and paid for my damn parking. This furnishing of different means of documentation went around and around for several days. I don't know about anybody else, but I work all week and can't make it to my bank before they close at the drop of a dime. I was told I would need to furnish a physical document from my bank showing the posted payment, you know the thing I had already sent them via photo. I will give five stars because Miss Cynthia in the customer service dept was a tremendous help in getting this issue resolved for me. She was able to pull up my pant and it corroborated everything I said I'd done. She was kind enough to explain what happened and said that it does happen quite frequently. The way this process works just feels like another attempt by a business to fanangle even more money out of our pockets, not sure why they bother to ask customers to input the license plate of the vehicle you're parking if they're just going to default to a different vehicle based on your phone number, maybe they should consider fixing that-- BUT Ms. Cynthia was wonderful.
