I purchased a spin bike from Precor in January. The sale staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. They listened to me and helped me make a good choice. They were flexible with delivery and i got a great bike - it's quiet, fits me well and I ride it 3-4 times a week.

I loved my experience with Brian at Precor in Bellevue. I walked in and told him what my goals were, he understood, and suggested I buy an Octane Max Trainer. He arranged delivery and assembly as quickly as he could for me. I felt that he was honest with me and a person with morals and standards. I LOVE the Max Trainer by the way. It is so much fun and very easy on the knees. I listen to AC DC while working out. I'm sliding into my 70's and am just getting back into fitness (kind of late) and having this quality machine in my bedroom makes it so easy to use.

I'm surprised that it only goes up to 8 (I assume that's 8%) and level 16 (which is like a foot of powder snow) I would have thought it would have gone up to level 20, ( 2 feet of powder) and 10%.

In response to your incline comments, level 8 on the EFX225 is the maximum incline, which is actually set at 25 degrees. The minimum ramp angle, at level 1, would be 15 degrees. The resistance is a bit harder to "measure", but at level 16 and 100 RPM's (200 strides per minute), it provides 550 watts of resistance, which should be fairly difficult to maintain for longer periods of time.
