Very impressive watch. high quality that lives up to expectations. An accurate recreation of the A-11 watch but with appropriate modern mechanics. Mine keeps accurate time to the second, is as waterproof as advertised and the 32mm original size is perfect to honor a time when we pulled together as a country for a greater good.

My black 32mm watch had poor lume on hands. Going from daylight to dark I could see the indices only. The hands have a faded vintage lume but the indices are a much brighter green. It also contained a Ronda 763E which has 1 jewel. Not a bad movement but I emailed Praesidus before purchase and was informed it had the 5 jewel gold-plated 763 version (which has an end-of-life indicator for battery changes.) Good points - case is well-finished and of the authentic small size, and leather strap is comfortable, and the packaging (with metal “dog tag” guarantee) is pleasing and of good quality. However I do not recommend it. I would also add that the caseback on my example wasn’t tightened down on arrival.

Regarding the lume, we understand how important legibility is, especially transitioning from light to dark, and we'll certainly take this into account as we continue to evaluate our products. As for the movement, I appreciate you bringing up the difference between the Ronda 763E and the 763 with the 5 jewels and the end-of-life indicator. We do strive for transparency with our specifications, and I regret the discrepancy in the information you received before your purchase. I’m glad to hear the case finish, strap, and packaging were to your liking, but I’m truly sorry about the case back not being tightened properly upon arrival. That’s definitely not the standard we aim for, and we’ll address that to avoid it happening again. After ordering the watch from your website, I didn't receive any feedback about my order status. After a week I emailed and was not given a real status update and I needed to email twice more before I was told my watch on the way. This was a couple of weeks after I ordered it. It would have been helpful if you would have sent me an update telling me the order was delayed but you were working on it. As it was I was beginning to worry. I love the watch, now that it has finally arrived, even though I was told that it would come on the new dark leather strap, but it arrived on the older light brown strap.
