The company is small & if something does go wrong, very dedicated to customer service. They worked with me to get my second watch purchase out in time for a scheduled gift, which was well received. I also own the special edition Marston Mat - a great experience with Praesidus from concept to delivery.

I absolutely love this watch! No pun intended, but it's timeless in style and that it's rooted in history makes it very special to me.

First, The watch is very nice! Second, I ordered the watch on Nov. 17th and got it Dec 5th. No notifications. It took 2 emails to customer service before I got a response. He said it was coming…. It arrived without any shipping communication. No indication that the watch was out of stock. Website said 4-8 days for delivery. I know Amazon shipping has us all spoiled, but that wait was excessive and communication was inadequate.

Shipping was horrible took 18 days to get a watch that was in stock.

I made my purchase with the early Black Friday sale. Communication was prompt and helpful. I picked the 42mm Tom Rice and the A2 black nato. I had been searching for a watch for work (very humid) that wasn't one of my 60 year old Elgin, Hamilton, Bulova or Gruen Precision watches. I started reading war accounts from WWI, WWII and Korea when I was in school, and watched many movies in the genre also. I noticed the product placement the watch companies had in the films and it worked... Just 60 years later than they probably had hoped. Praesidus has made a collection of watches that look fantastic and hold true to the look of the watches I enjoy. This made my choice difficult, but in the end the personal story of Tom Rice resonated with my history of literature and film interests. I like that the dial has generously large numbers that seem to be the perfect size for the overall dimension of the watch, and that the functionality of an automatic movement was added. I chose the A2 since it has the aged lume and it looks very close to the current state of actual vintage watches I have. Great job Praesidus!
