This is my first stop, now, for all my computing purchases. I'm completely over needing "that new car smell" on the computers I buy, unless they're Christmas gifts! Here's a short story to explain how I became so committed to these guys: (I've been building businesses on Mac hardware since the late eighties.) I needed to upgrade my laptop for the mobile video editing I was starting to do more of, and I wanted to try PowerMax. I ran through the specs as best I could and ordered one. The laptop came, I started loading apps, and I discovered that I'd overlooked a critical piece of information -- it turns out there was a recent generation of Macbook Pros that would not run Final Cut Pro, a crucial piece of information I'd completely missed. I called up PowerMax, and was told that they would apply the full purchase price that I'd just paid, to the right model. I poked around, paying better attention to the affected specs, selected another unit, and swapped them out, paying a small difference. The problem was 100% my fault, and yet they treated me like a friend and valued customer when solving the problem. Now PowerMax is where I start when I'm planning a computer purchase. I've never had to revise or reconsider that decision.

I thought making a purchase over the phone was kind of weird, but website said to call for ordering product. The order went quickly and smoothly. The product was shipped to my residence with no problems. I would use this company again.

I would definitely recommend buying all your Apple gear from these guys, super helpful, friendly service and simple. I ordered an iPad for my Dad for Christimas at 8:30 on a Thursday night and it was hand delivered to my house at 9AM that Sat morning. Amazing! Who are these crazy people who camp out in the rain for days on end to buy an iPad when all it take is a simple phone call. Way to go Powermax!

The website is very user friendly and provides extensive product information. It even mentions the condition of the used item if it's notable - like more scratches than usual on the exterior case, etc. There were two items that appeared identical on the website so I called and the person who answered the phone went into the "next room" and looked at them both to see which looked better and then I was able to order that particular item from the website. Unbelievable personalized service!

I ordered (3) iPad Mini Retinas for Christmas, and Powermax was able to acquire them and ship them within a few days. This is pretty impressive as no other stores (Best Buy, Fry's, even Apple Stores) were constrained on the iPad Mini Retinas. What's more we saved on shipping and did not pay sales tax.
