RMA refund was not at all according to PowerMax written documentation
I purchased a 27" Mac Thunderbolt Monitor. It did not fit my Mac and so I called for a RMA and returned the product. Once received by them I was sent an email stating I had a STORE CREDIT. Their site says: "we will exchange it or offer you a refund based on your original method of payment." It took several days and many phone calls and emails before I actually received a refund to my card. I suppose the company just wants to keep your money...making a percentage on it while holding it in their account. So they have lost a customer and I buy lots of electronic computer toys.
Response from PowermaxOct 31, 2015
At PowerMax, we pride ourselves on offering the best possible customer service in our industry. But... once in a while we make a mistake or click the wrong button, which is unfortunately what happened here. An employee accidentally clicked the "store credit" button instead of the "refund to credit card" button on our internal RMA form. As soon as we learned of the error, we corrected it immediately. We're sorry this mistake caused this customer to assume the worst.
