I placed my order with Post and Porch in August and my card was immediately charged for the purchase. Going on eight weeks later, I had received a few of what felt like AI responses to emails that were promising the next week each time and still hadn’t received my package at the time of writing this review. Upon posting the review, one of the owners reached out to me directly wanting to find an appropriate resolution. My original order was shipped promptly following our conversation, arrived safely and is of exceptional quality. I am happy with the product and hopeful that this company’s customer experience grows to become exceptional as well.

Edit: I'm changing my rating up to 3 stars. After posting my original review, the company reached out to me and expedited the missing components. I was able to mount it on an existing cedar post with a little ingenuity and procuring my own hardware necessary for my existing post design. The mailbox looks great and beautifully matches the decor/style of our house. It also appears well built. That said, their order fulfillment can be a source of frustration - in my experience at least. Your mileage may vary.

Ordered 2 mailboxes, they charged me for both. Waited a month and they only sent 1 mailbox. They don’t have a phone number or live chat. Just an email with Ai responses. I’ve emailed them multiple times for over a week. No human response, just an automated reply telling me about their problems - family business that’s short staffed and overwhelmed. They shouldn’t take orders they can’t fill; or at least refund the money vs ghosting customers once they have your money and not send the merchandise. Guess I’ll have to file a complaint with the attorney general’s next week. And dispute the charge with Visa. Not sure what else to do. UPDATE - Finally received the 2nd mailbox from them. Changed the review to a 3-star - the mailboxes are very high quality and beautiful. Better than anything I've seen at retail. But they have to fix their customer service issues. Seems like leaving the 1-star review was the fastest way to get them to respond. If I were them, I'd higher some college students part-time just to manage inquiries and elevate the more pressing issues.
