Worst host I ever used...
I had a pixelmon server with them for about 6 months and the first month everything was running fine, but from the second month onwards I only started to experience issues, from server lagging behind to constant crashes. This made it un-playable and I lost a good few players. When I asked for help, they couldn't help me and I then got a plugin to monitor the ram and cpu, the ram I had was 6GB and its more than enough for the players I had on at the time, but later the ram got reduced to 5GB and I didnt notice till a player pointed out that the server is lagging and I then checked the ram allocation. So they took 1GB of ram from my server to give to someone else. Also the cpu of the server was at a constant 50+% causing even more issues. In short they oversell their servers and take your ram after a few months to sell to someone else, I wouldn't even recommend them for just friends.

Hi Jarrod, I appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. We have no contact of you trying to contact our support regarding this issue. But I did want to clear something up. We assign your full memory to your container, and we never modify or edit your memory for any reasons. I did have a look at your service and it did have the full memory you purchased. I believe you were looking at your in-game GC memory and noticing the full amount (6GB) missing— you would be seeing around 5GB because that is the current heap size, this still means your server has access to the full 6GB you purchased, and can be used when the server needs it. This is simply how Java handles memory, and not controlled by PloxHost. I hope this clears up some things. If you wish to discuss more, you can reach out to us at [email protected]. Thanks, Mark
