OsmoReviews of playosmo.com

A great way to incorporate fine motor skills with technology! Too, it builds grit, motivation, and a growth mindset to try new ideas when one fails.

I chose Osmo over Leap Frog and other tablet learning programs due to the interactive nature of the Osmo system. Using hands on games, markers, books,... in conjunction with the tablet was much more attractive than video game screen only type systems. I do not regret that choice. I do think Osmo's math programs are more plentiful and stronger than the reading programs, and much stronger than the science which seems to be rather limited.

Overall, this is a great product that changes screen time from mindless cartoons to using and thinking minds. My son loves to work with Osmo. I have two reasons its 4 stars -- cost and lack of directions. I have to constantly re-explain things to my son for the directions of an app. I feel there should be a really nice video or detailed explanation of what is needed to do the task correctly for the kiddos. As for cost, that's just a parent complaint. While the items are nice, I think $20 off wouldn't be crazy to assume.

The apps are NOT according to age guidance. Not intuitive like sago mini or khan academy and those were extremely reasonably priced. Spent over $200 and my kid didn’t show a 10th of an interest compared to other apps I paid much less for.

My grandson loved it... His also were extremely pleased definitely will be building on this.

My family spoke Korean at home and I was looking for the learning program, which my son (5 years old) can learn English with the fun. He loves to play all games that I bought for him and I am glad to know Osmo program. It's so easy to use as my own iPad to download apps.

A gimmick in my opinion, kids used it for two days and didn’t want to use it again, it just repeats too much for the kids, selling it in eBay as I purchased several different packs for it.

This is an AMAZING program! My daughter has learned SOOOOO much using it. With it hitting all the learning types in one fell swoop. My oldest is way ahead in pre school thanks to osmo. She has learned to problem solve and to do math. Only thing I don't like, is once you buy the pieces not ALL the games associated with the pieces automatically come with them. I also wish I could buy any piece easier. Like I really want the drawing mat for little kids. But, it only comes in a base, set so it is more expensive then it should be for just the drawing mat. But don't get me wrong I LOVE osmo and the design of the pieces working with the game. It really does make a HUGH diffrence to my kids ability to focus and follow directions. I highly recommend this especially if your kids have any kind of learning struggle. It really does make all the diffrence.
