Bought the viperx 4000 reel. i used for not more than 3 days and the spinning cap piece came off when i was catching a snook. I contacted customer service through phone several times and the voicemail was full. I then emailed the customer support and they responded. They were polite and kind but now I can no longer send messages to them. Gmail told me that the messages are blocked and they have not responded to me since. Now I am left with a broken rusted reel.

I was drawn in by the marketing hype on the carbon x II spinning reel. I liked the original carbon x spinning reel and have 4 or 5. I am somewhat disappointed with the reel. I find the bale very hard to close when starting the retrieve. You need almost half a turn on the bail before there is enough force to close the bail. It is too hard to trip the bale if that head start is not there when starting a retrieve. Very disappointed, I was expecting more from an improved carbon x rollout.

I like the Piscifun products. I have purchased both spinning and casting equipment and all have worked as well as the much more expensive product. This is great equipment at an economical price. I fish these in tournaments as well as pleasure fishing and they seem to hold up well during all the abuse! Great products!

My husband, son and grandchildren love Piscifun products! Never been disappointed.
