Pickup MusicReviews of pickupmusic.com

I've tried a couple of different guitar online courses but I must admit, none of them wasn't so well structured and so easy to navigate (although the teachers were great). But pickup music is just another level. So articulated. So well organised. I'm really thrilled with this guitar online school (it really is the closest thing to going to actual school). Recommend!

For the last 3 years, I used to be one of those guitar enthusiasts who would learn guitar sporadically over random YouTube until one day I finally decided to buckle down and work through one of the learning pathways. I'm happy to say, esp as a musician who does not have a formal music background, that pickupmusic has helped me develop the right mindset when it comes to practicing and the confidence to go play with other musicians. Sam,Kyle, and the rest of the pickupmusic are friendly, super knowledgeable, and supportive. They make learning guitar more accessible than ever before, regardless if you want to learn jazz, rock, funk, or neo soul guitar player. I'm very happy to be part of this community where learning feels fun and for the price, pickupmusic is a pure goldmine.

The guided lessons and pathways provide the most structure out of all the guitar learning websites available. For a 20 year intermediate guitarist like myself, (who has not played with enough discipline to improve), structure was exactly what I needed. Molly Miller, (who teaches the CAGED Pathway), is not only an amazing artist, but a fantastic teacher. The daily lessons with homework along the knowledge quizzes provide the closest experience to in person lessons at a fraction of the cost. Thank you!

This is the best platform so far for learning to play guitar. I have tried, jamplay, guitar tricks, tonebase and even though they are not bad, pickup music is far superior (I have tried for a while) having the personalised feedback after each module, the masterclasses and learning paths are fantastic.100% recommended. If you are into fingerstyle, blues, jazz, this is the place to be. Eager waiting for their mobile app!!

Very well explained content, amazing learning experience! Absolutely recommended!!!

Very good experience, I recommend it!

Pickupmusic is definitely the best place to learn guitar. The teachers and production are amazing, and the user experience makes learning very enjoyable. I am truly amazed at the progress I've made in my first month here! 💪✨

Very responsive with answering comments and emails. Really great feedback system when you finish each grade (they will respond with a pretty comprehensive video response). The main reason I like pickup is because they don’t babysit you and as an intermediate guitarist (for whatever it’s worth), they really get into the stuff I want to learn. There’s a million sites that are great for beginners and while I do think beginners can benefit from pickup, it really is an upper-beginner/ intermediate guitarists dream.
