Pickup MusicReviews of pickupmusic.com

The instruction is great. There is a lesson for any mood that I am feeling. Fingerstyle, tapping, classic technique. Videos are fun and have exercises that really help find ways to implement the things you are learning. PickUpMusic and that glorious Brit Justin, are responsible for more of my guitar playing than I could ever thank them for. Plus, the MasterClasses from Plini, Sarah Longfield, and Manuel Gardner Fernandes are worth the money in itself. Pickup is worth checking out.

I did a free trial and really enjoyed it. I love the interface and content, a lot. It's just difficult for me to spend as much time practicing as I'd like. For this reason, I don't think I'd be able to get my money's worth out of a paid subscription. That's why I recommend for them to offer a lifetime membership at a good price point. Nonetheless, Pickup Music seems to be the online guitar instructions website that appeals to me, most. Who knows, maybe they'll have a Black Friday deal that will entice me to subscribe for a year.

The instructors make it a pleasurable learning experience. They are excited to teach. I enjoy the step approach of each lesson with the challenges and especially the reminders not to move forward if your not comfortable. Customer Service needs more people on staff so that they can respond to the issues. But they are willing to make it up to you, and they are willing to admit when it's their fault very rare in today's business environment. Development could use some work.

This site deserves a glowing review, that frankly I'm not equipped to write but, I'll try by starting with what I've shared on the member's community forum. "Anyone else amazed at the value for money with this site? For less than half the price of an in-person lesson per month, I've been able to learn things that I haven't been able to grasp for the past 11 years of playing! All of the teachers are world-class, and explain things in such simple ways too!" There's so much you can get from Pickup Music, all it takes is a little dedication and the desire to learn. It has a wide range of resources to help you become the best musician you can be. As you progress through pathways, you have the opportunity to submit videos of playthroughs for feedback, and the feedback they give is invaluable. Seriously, I wish I'd found this sooner.

They make it easy to understand. Different views on the guitar and a good pace for learning. Ive been playing guitar for 20 years but never learned the CAGED system for example. It is a game changer and makes so much sense the way it is taught on this website! Also, I was able to send in a video of myself playing and a teacher took the time to evaluate it and send me a video providing feedback! Amazing company and highly recommended!!

Pickup Music has an incredible amount of high quality content. The instructors are top notch, the learning pathways are structured to suit players of all skill levels, and the website's UI makes it easy to navigate. The price is the same as a 30 minute lesson at my local music stores. I can't say enough good things about Pickup Music. If you want to take your guitar playing to the next level or learn a new style, this is the place to go!

This is my favorite place on the internet. The pathways are the perfect way to lay out a daily practice routine and keep edging your progress forward. Adding in the live lessons and weeklong live events by talented professional musicians... The monthly subscription will be the best money you've ever spent.

Ive tried pretty much everything on the internet when it comes to music lessons, from SBL to Waay and Pickup Music is the best all round imo. Straight forward lessons that don’t overlap so you know you’re getting your money’s worth and super smooth UI that makes the experience comfortable.
