Been playing guitar for a few years (on and off) but never made any real progress until I subscribe to Pickup Music. Their learning pathway is really great and it give me directions everyday what to improve on and what to practice. Playing guitar now is fun and feel more structured than before. Highly recommend Pickup Music

The amount of different courses is astonishing, they give you ways to exercise by yourself, and make you understand why things work the way it does, it's not just about throwing a few licks and call it a course. The structure of the different courses always make sense, and it is very easy, no matter what guitar mastery you are at to find something useful. A special shoutout to the Hendricks course from Karl, the neo soul altered scale bit and the caged system pathways that really unlocked something special to me. It's very well worth the money, and even if it sounds silly, the whole team feels encouraging, and involved into answering any question you may have during lessons. Absolutely, definitely, super very mega happy :D

Pickup Music has been my best online learning experience so far, even outside of music. The instructors are amazing players, but most importantly, they're very good teachers. You can tell they've designed their programs carefully, as all of the content is broken down really well into relatively small and logical pieces, while still giving you a good feeling of progression after completing each lesson. As with any musical instrument, you have to apply yourself and practice to get all of the benefits, but if you commit to it, Pickup Music will help you take your playing further and give you plenty of inspiring material to work through. I still don't think anything like this would ever replace the value of a real (and good) teacher, but for my needs and budget, it is near perfect.

I love pickup music! The quality of videos, backing tracks, tabs is great. Very good teachers. Very good and interesting lessons! I don't feel that I practice alone at home. Lessons are very interactive! And the price is perfect!

A great way to learn, with excellent course material and structure. Plenty of different guitar styles to explore enabling you to grow your skills. All at a great cost.

Honestly feel so lucky to live in this day and age to have all these resources at our fingertips! It's amazing to be able to access such a variety of classes, from anywhere. Think how inaccessible quality guitar lessons would have been a couple decades back! Disclaimer - to improve as a guitar player you still have to put in the time and effort to PRACTICE <3

I had been in a skill plateau for years, never really learning the next steps after being a beginner. I realized if I wanted to improve, it wouldn't be from noodling around on my guitar every now and then, but actually taking courses to really sit down and learn theory and expand on musical genres, on music I might not know otherwise. It took Pickup Music's "Late Beginner" course to teach me exactly what I needed, a crash course on basic songs, rhythm, lead, really just a little bit of everything. I'm really happy to say that at this point I really feel like I'm able to actually show off some of what I know and some songs I learned.

Pickup music is great, provides better structure than YouTube videos while still being way more affordable than private lessons. Would highly recommend.
