Absolute scammers! I bought this service to use for 2FA codes which their ads and website claim it works for unlike VOIP numbers. I tried on 2 sites as soon as I purchased and neither worked. When I asked for a refund they refused stating some fine print in their refund policy. Their marketing states one thing and their refund policy another. Buyer beware!

The staff at PHONE2 has gone out of their way to kelp me PORT my SKYPE numbers to my account even though I made several mistakes sending my SKYPE account to them, they reached out to me and gave me the assistance that I needed to complete the process. Thank you PHONE2

Paying a monthly fee is a rip off , I have been using Skype for years and all you do is put credit on your account to phone .. To phone a uk land line from Portugal with Skype it is 0.22p a minute .. Some time in a month I would not use it at all so the same credit is still would be in my account .. To have pay a fee every month is a rip off .

Hi Peter — thanks for your feedback, but we’re a bit confused by the details. We can’t locate any user under this name in our system, and the phrasing of your comment is nearly identical to several other recent reviews we’ve received — so we’re flagging this for Trustpilot as potential spam or competitor activity. That said, just to clarify for others reading: ✅ Phone2 is a real U.S./Canada number (mobile-class) that works worldwide for inbound SMS, 2FA, and unlimited calling ✅ We’re not pay-per-minute — we’re flat-rate calling (which is often cheaper in the long run for nomads and frequent users) ✅ International calling is launching in June with prepaid credits (like Skype), so you’ll have that option too If you’re a real user and need help, feel free to email us at [email protected] with your username and we’ll gladly help out. Otherwise, we’ll let the platform review it from here.

Unclear how to sign up. I saw advertisements for 4 dollars per month. Then I try and sign up it's 15 or 18 dollars. I don't have a business. Where is the 4 dollar plan? Is than an Application I need to get from google play? I would like to sign up using my android phone.
Response from Phone2May 30, 2025
Hi Joe — sorry for the confusion! The $4/month plan is available — it’s shown clearly on our sign-up page: checkout.phone2.io. Just toggle between monthly and annual billing to see both options. It’s $5/month if billed monthly, or $48/year ($4/month) if paid annually. And yes — we do have an Android app! You can download it here: phone2.io/android, after signing up at the link below. I am so glad I got Phone2. I live overseas so having a US number to make and receive calls from the states is invaluable. The 2fa feature is a super plus! Now I have no problem with communicating with my financial institutions or logging into my banking and other apps that require 2fa. I even receive text messages and voicemail. Their customer service is top notch as well. Now I'm actually glad skype decided to discontinue service because Phone2 is honestly that much better.

They go on about a monthly payment of $5 per month on their advertisements, which is a good option to try the service out. However, when you go on the website to sign up, you choose a number and then it takes you to the billing page which is only the yearly option. Nowhere to be seen as an option is a monthly payment. Really ridiculous and makes me wonder how reliable and honest they are if they can't even get this aspect right!

Hi Phil — totally fair point and we’re sorry about the confusion. The $5/month plan is available at checkout.phone2.io — just toggle from “Annual” to “Monthly” at the top. It defaults to the $48/year plan (which is $4/month), but monthly billing is absolutely an option. Appreciate the feedback — we're updating the page now to make this clearer. Let us know if you’d like help switching over.

Being able to rate Phone2 on TrustPilot is a pleasure; I rely on that website to inform me which sites do what they claim to do, and also which sites provide great customer service and value. Phone2 does both, and has solved the problem of 2-factor security when I am away from my usual home or work environment. There are no problems getting the codes I need to proceed with my shopping, streaming or other transactions. Thank you!
