Phone2 works well when it does. Which is most of the time. There are still some sites which don't work. Etrade and Venmo are two that don't.

After SKYPE closed, Phone2 was my choice for migration. I chose the $149 LifeTime packages of unlimited calls to US and Canada. It has been wonderful. Works on both my computer and my phone. I receive text message from banks and official corporations. All my needs are fully met at a fraction of the cost I was paying SKYPE.

I have had phone2 since Skype shut down last May. I have tried to call the U.S, 10 to 15 times since and more than half the time the line goes dead during the conversation. Sometimes a call back has been successful and sometimes not. Very poor service. Also, my bank cannot text codes to my phone 2 number even though it is a Washington DC number. I talked with them about this and was told the problem is on your end. I am extremely dissatisfied with phone 2 service. Another thing, when I changed from Skype. all my contact numbers were to be ported over but out of more than 30, only one number was ported from Skype to Phone 2

This service started out a simple dream come true solution. Now it has become riddled with glitches and so unusable that i am looking for alternatives. Phone calls drop 85% of the time and i usually cant call back with out closing the app and it still usually drops after over a month of them saying we are working to fix it. This is simply not true. Look for other options

If you're reading this, you too are trying to figure out how to replace the app formerly known as EPYKS. Living overseas but needing access to folks back home I went to Phone2. I am here to tell you that so far it is at least TWICE as good as they say it is! It was a one time fee for me to set up (there are some additional costs along the way but they are cheap and easy to understand.) The call quality has been OUTSTANDING. I have yet to have a dropped call. You CAN receive OTPs with Phone2. You CAN send SMS messages with Phone2. It is easy to set-up and easy to live with. I dislike most things when new: I immediately loved Phone2.
