The prices aren't worth it, and their online service is horrible. I used to be a very loyal customer and worker at petsmart but as they grew, their quality diminished. Employees at the store were rude and very unhelpful. Some of them didn't even seem to like animals at all. Very, very disheartening.

I have boycotted Petsmart. This is based on my experience working with a Petsmart charity, speaking to corporate, and my experience getting my dog groomed there. It is a shame to pay all that money to get my dog groomed, and they couldn’t bother to dry him well enough so he smelled when I picked him up and was STILL wet. And shame on corporate for how they handle situations between store managers and people volunteering to help animals. Petsmart doesn’t care about animal welfare, just getting money for themselves. Capitalism at its best.

ONLINE ORDERING EXCEPTIONALLY POOR The many times I have ordered on line for pickup, the website was extremely slow; it would occasionally wipe out my order and I had to start again. Stupid me, I persevered. Then 3 deliveries in a row, the cans were all over the box, even the box was battered and torn and one time the cans were so badly dented I had to return almost half of the order to the store. This last time the online took my order and finalized it, sent me a confirmation. I waited for my order, and waited...and waited.... Two days past the due date I called PetSmart. The person spoke so fast and her phone line was so garbled I had trouble understanding her. Finally it came out that my order had been cancelled due to a technical difficulty and that I had to reorder. No notice of this "technical difficulty" was sent to me so that I could make other arrangements to feed my animals. This is unacceptable and I will be looking for other sources for my pet food.

5th Street extended Charlottesville VA pet smart stinks. I've gone 3 times. The first 2 times, the line was long and, although the cashier asked the manager for help, we all just had to suck it up. The 3rd time, I put about 20different flavours of cat food in my basket. When I got to the register, the cashier kept stealing glances at my basket. When my turn came she told me I'd have to wait for her to take the customers behind me because she'd have to sort through the food for inventory purposes. So while I was waiting for her to deign me worthy of service, I sorted the food. Of course more people were behind me. "How many cans do you have? I'm not supposed to ring them through as one group but your order would take too long." "But I arranged them for you." She was flustered and having to recount. "Why can't you just scan them like they do in the grocery store?" She tried and had trouble. "I'll have to count them." "But I arranged them for you." Eventually she finished my order. I don't think I have ever felt that my giving a business was such a big inconvenience to the business. I guess they just expect you to buy one flavor of food. I will be sure to share my experience with people I know. And even some I don't.

ordered several times online 3 times the order was incomplete ( missing the cat food ) but they had charged me for the whole thing all 3 times in the online orders the expected delivery date was incorrect as well as shipping was late by 2 days. 1 out of 3 times the merchandise was damaged and everything was all over the box. They are polite on their customer service , but their ability to ship, obtain information and provide accurate info on products while delivering correctly is terrible.

Wausau, WI location is amazing and very helpful and knowledgeable. Would have given 4 starts but one male employee was rude, sluggish, needed to work on his hygiene and seemed very careless about his job and the customers.

Golden Colorado petsmart is the best. We love the employees, our dog even likes to visit for a special treat on occasion. We buy reptile food on a weekly basis and the employees are always available to help and even spend time showing the critters to the kids. We play there for 10 to 30 min every week.
