Wow! I don’t know what is going on with their platform but it has been a disaster. Attempted to book a studio rental. System shows card declined and please try again. BUT, the transaction goes through, and results in multiple charges. Speaking to someone in customer support is IMPOSSIBLE. To their credit, they reversed the charges quickly, but it is anxiety inducing and has made me decide to not use their service again. Clearly they are aware of a problem with their system, but rather than temporarily take it down until it is resolved, they are continuing to operate business as usual.

Hi Kimberly - Thank you for leaving your review! We are sorry to hear this has been your experience booking and hope we can provide some additional clarity into your experience. When it comes to processing payments, an authorization hold is placed on the card when you attempt a payment but then is released if the card is declined. Thus, declined transactions can temporarily appear as "pending" transactions until removed by your bank. Often cards are declined for reasons such as the bank blocking the transaction or information being inputted incorrectly such as the CVC code or zip code. The card will continue to decline until remedied. It looks like we received a phone call from you whilst our phone support was closed on the weekend, and we promptly followed up Monday morning via email with clarity as to why the card was being declined. If you have any further questions, please respond to the support ticket and our Customer Experience team would be happy to continue assisting you.

I paid for 4 hrs worth of time for a photoshoot and the host violated our agreement my interrupting the shoot 3 hrs in. $200 lost value in the 1 hr that wasn't honored. I reached out to Peerspace for support and they informed me they wouldn't help me. I informed my credit card company and asked them to dispute 25% (1hr) of the charge. Ultimately my credit card company said they didn't have enough evidence to prove my claim. Peerspace never reached out to me to informed me the case has been resolved. When I reached out to them, they said "Case has been resolved in peerspaces favor" "any future disputes, my account will result in permanent suspension." I thought Peerspace would protect and care about the visitor as much as they do the host. I was wrong. And I never imagined they would punish the visitor (Me) for informing them that the host violated the agreement. I was wrong.

Hi Christopher, Thank you for leaving this review and bringing your experience to our attention. It is important to us that your feedback has been heard and we hope we can provide you with some clarity surrounding your case. On 9/15/2023 we received an email from you because your host was on site for the last hour of your booking. Our team informed you that this does not violate any policies within our Terms of Service, as we do encourage hosts or a site rep to be present during bookings to support guests with anything they need. We also could not confirm that you and your host agreed to have a private booking, so we moved forward with closing the case. Furthermore, we follow a detailed process to ensure fair dispute resolutions. The credit card issuer made the decision in this instance based on the requested evidence that was provided to them. Although we are unable to provide additional details our support team is ready to address any further questions you may have. We are sorry to hear that this was your experience, but we appreciate your understanding of our policies and Terms of Service.

Working remotely with a geographically dispersed team, it is important to find places to meet and Peerspace has been great in providing workspace for meetings in cities for my team to collaborate. Getting face to face time is important and Peerspace has flexibility in space size and location to fit my needs

I understand & respect having a cancellation policy! By why have a policy if your not going to u Follow it! I had to cancel my event. I did within enough time to get back half of my money. They are trying to refund me back only $25?! I paid them almost $400… the receipt is bogus & I just want me $200 that I should receive from them. They don’t answer the phone, email or forms they ask you to sum but! SHADY BUSINESS!!!!
