The space is flexible. Quiet.

Found a studio with reasonable rates in a nearby location, that I didn't see anywhere else. The booking process was easy.

The space is very diverse, met all my photography needs, it is a hot week so an AC would have been the cherry on top!

Difficult to navigate the website they actually charge people scout which would discourage somebody using the service

Website seemed to work fine. Mobile app also worked, although I had to hunt quite a bit to find the button to access customer service and a dialogue with either a bot or a person. Now I am awaiting news on collecting payment and have no notices to that effect yet.

Peerspace is wonderful for smaller shoots under 20 people. That is the sweet spot. The app works great and the service is great too for us seasoned power hosts (400+ shoots and counting) , especially since we have an immediate contact number to call and talk to a human. That is very important. The only thing I and another hosts are not liking is the percentage amount they take from us: 20% is high considering that we don’t get any extras like a site rep, or a more personalized contract. The higher Peerspace charges are prohibitive for smaller companies too. That was the edge Peerspace had over regular location companies, but now there is no advantage for smaller teams to specifically work through Peerspace. The only way hosts can remain competitive is to lower our prices further, which is very frustrating as many of us were already extremely competitive in our pricing beforehand. We’d be very grateful if your fees went back to 15% instead of 20%. Or maybe a compromise where you didn’t charge a percentage for extras or cleaning fees. As it stands that higher percentage rate really hurts our overall operating costs… so much so that we have to rethink having this as our business at all. People are really struggling right now, and while we understand Peerspace wanting to increase fees because they are expanding, 20% is just too much. We don’t all want to continue racing to the bottom having to continually lower prices to stay competitive.

Helpful site to find local Studios and location locations for shoots

I appreciate Peerspace for the ease of access and booking process. However, the additional fees can be a bit outrageous. My overall experience has been great every time I have booked though.
