ONLINE SCAM IN THE CHINESE WAY WITH PayPal's CONNIVENCE
My wife took a fancy to a pair of clothes and the following happened.
1.- The similarity between the photo in the catalog and what was received was infamous, gross, ridiculous.
2.- Once the claims are made, the Chinese "boredom" begins, first they offer you a partial refund, in this case, 40%, upon my refusal, they warn you that the return costs are high and the package will take to arrive in China.
3.- My answer has been that I don't give a damn about yivette's problems, I want my money NOW! and when you have it, then yivette must send a courier to take care of the package, its labeling and the costs.
4.- If I do not get my money right away, I will follow the next step in PayPal who I have warned that either does exactly what I say or flood the internet with the yivette scam and the uselessness of using PayPal.
In case yivette occurs to answer with the typical message of "boredom", as it has already done on TrustPilot in Spanish:
ORDER # HBNPB00034574

Scam amount to be refunded: € 52.39

Useful money toilet
It's practical in its uses. Being able to buy internationally without much hassle and all. At least until someone rips you off. Because buyer protection is a joke. Takes forever and finds ridiculous excuses to not help.

Pick any other company: TLDR at beginning of review. Rest is context for your benefit
TL:DR;
I was better off using an different organisation offering the same service that I chose with little consideration off of a "top 10" list and spending a couple of minutes looking into both the negative and positive of their customers. I recommend you invest this same 5 minutes of time and potentially avoid the same negative experience many of us have had with PayPal.
Note_1: There is no recommendation regarding any organisations or industries in this entire review other than my recommendation, or lack thereof, for PayPal based upon my lengthy experience with PayPal.
Note_2: [Pre-emptive message to PayPal support if they choose to respond to this review]: No, PayPal - I have no interest in returning to business with you in any capacity or recouping the funds you refused to reimburse me for after all 4 inquiries you maintained the voucher I used did not exist, irrespective of me providing -all- evidence requested. At the time of this review that same voucher is still present on my account page.
The rest of this review is in the following order:
1) My most recent experience with their support teams.
2) An summary of what I have learned about PayPal's service from my experiences over the past few years.
3) Specific advice on how to come to your own independent informed opinion as to what sort of electronic payment model would yield the most reliable and accountable service for anyone irrespective of case (seemingly in depth, but worth including in this review if you're interested)
1)
PayPal offers vouchers.
I see the vouchers in my account.
I read all of the terms, conditions and instructions.
I make a purchase with a voucher exactly as instructed.
Voucher does not get applied.
I raise complaint.
PayPal says voucher does not exist and never did.
I send screenshot of voucher currently still available in my account.
PayPal support: "Thank you for your request, we would appreciate feedback on your experience with our support team"
Me: open same request again.
*exact same process happens again with different support staff*
Voucher still in my account, full payment for my purchase has been processed.
Me: Request refund for services not as advertised.
PayPal legal team email: Based on the information we have to date, we have to deny your claim.
Included in email: My transaction ID, transaction amount, dispute case ID, dispute amount, transaction date.
*voucher still present in my account*
Also included in email: "If You Have Additional Information Please Send it to Us"
-After I had sent all previous chat logs, screenshots and transactional data to them in my dispute.
Me: Create GDPR request to PayPal support for all my personally identifiable data.
*7 days later* - no comment from PayPal to indicate they have received or initiated my request.
2)
For discrete payments, PayPal provides the basic functionality all of the other companies in its field do.
PayPal's adherence to their own policies has been unreliable and inconsistent in my experience with them over the past few years.
Additionally - also in my experience and even in the best of times I am personally unable to determine with certainty whether PayPal operate in compliance with industry regulation (circumstances outlined previously in this review - GDPR request).
3)
Instead of, like I had done with PayPal, inspecting the policies, terms and conditions of services offered [with regards to compliance regulation concerning the data governance with respect to data controllers and processors - a topic I am well-read on], after a little consideration I picked another company that on the face of research I had done (like with PayPal) seemed to be equally compliant in the same industry - I was surprised to experience far better service standards with regards to the functionality included in the service, quality of the service and although I haven't required to interface with any of their support teams - that in of itself is an improvement.
Having done and having continued to research payment services it is undeniably evident that a better approach to financial transactions is to utilise a different service model entirely for any and all electronic payments.
If, like me, you have independently sought an alternative service for your personal electronic payments, thoroughly investigating the following 3 buzzwords will result in learning of a vast range of financial services that boast inextricable complete accountability of service standards and funds.

Mandatory piece of wisdom: Be the change you wish to see, lead change by example. It has been said that you cannot force a horse to drink but you can lead it to water - less often considered however is that forcing a horse to water is equally as determinantal as forcing it to drink.

PayPal support known fraudulent companies over end0-users
I purchased 2 puzzles from Shenzhen Lijuan Trading Co., Ltd. through the PayPal payment gateway. This was the only option for payment. The products finally arrived and were not even close to what I ordered. I made a complaint to PayPal about it - weeks went by, I finally heard that "the company agreed to refund $30". I paid $59.04. However, I could get a full refund if I shipped the garbage products back to China at my own expense. I continue to question this with PayPal, who is not helpful in the least. I did more research and found on the PayPal community forum, there are literally dozens and dozens of people complaining about this fake company, and the complaints go back for many months. So PayPal knows this company is not legitimate. The return address on the package I received with the wrong and cheap products is from YDH INT'L INC in Valparaiso IN - A US address. Upon researching that company I found that the Better Business Bureau gives it an F, stating consumers reported not getting products they ordered. PayPal is siding with, and continues to partner with, a known fraudulent company.

They take your money claiming to be the…
They take your money claiming to be the go between with the other company which knowing that the company was fraud . They want you to return the product that was sent to you back to get a full refund that cost more than the item. Bad rep.skills. dont do business with them for any foreign product. It's like a box of Crackers Jacks you dont know what your getting until you open it and believe me it's a surprise. Nothing like you ordered or worth the money. They go back to the seller and tell you you've got 10 days to reply and send the mistaken item back. Beware !!

Use STRIPE STOP USING PAYPAL
Case ID PP-D-78330339 PLEASE REVIEW MY APPEAL.
I'm Merchant. PayPal didn't investigate the disputes and refund the money to the buyer. My buyer received FREE Products and GET A FULL REFUND. I LOST MY PRODUCTS AND SHIPPING FEES.
* I appealed 4 times but no one responds to me.
Now I wonder why a lot of big companies stopped using PayPal.
Change to STRIPE will be better.
Change to STRIPE no more PAYPAL

BEWARE - PAYPAL IS VERY BAD
To whom it may concern
I am a Paypal merchant customer with credit card privileges for my customer/clients to pay for their services. I have been an exceptional client to Paypal for over ten years. Over this year, I, like many others, have watch Paypal’s level of customer service drop significantly to non-existence. On August 18, 2020 Paypal allowed and put through a fraudulent chargeback for $588.91 which created a negative balance on my Paypal account. To be more emphatically clear, this was BLATANT FRAUD. This customer did use our service. The outlandishness of Paypal”s effort to do anything was even worse based on the following:
• On April 9, 2020, the customer used our emergency notary services to complete a remote online notary closing service. The services were successfully provided and completed as well done via an audio-visual/video process which was recorded.
• The customer waited for an entire month after the closing was completed to state and then fraudulently claimed on May 8, 2020, the service was never provided.
• May 10, 2020, I provided Paypal’s dispute and chargeback team with a copy of the recording for this private-confidential service being provided as well as a copy of the private-confidential notarized documents completed, and clients provided identification; furthermore, the disclosure on our invoices which clearly state there are NO REFUNDS, which a copy was provided to Paypal as well.
• Then Paypal, after being provided overwhelming proof of the service had been completed, then had the audacity after three months to allow this chargeback to occur. HOW IS THIS OKAY?
Yes, someone needs to tell me HOW IS THIS OKAY? Paypal has no phone support what-so-ever now; their chat service is not equipped to address matters of grave concern like this, and as well as no executive leadership either. Many consumers like myself would be unsuspecting that a company like Paypal could be allowing its merchant customers to be victimized in this manner. Outrageous, outlandish, and unbelievable!
