Until this month, I would have rated PayPal a five for trustworthy and efficient services. I've used this service for years when I traveled and was reimbursed for the expenses. Never any weird charges. Now I have had two companies take advantage of me this month and PayPal has been dragging their feet to resolve my disputes. Looking for a different service now.

awful system, I don;t have my refund, I had to request my refund through my bank as Paypal authorise to a scammer web to take my money. Then Paypla request to put menoy back in my account as it went in negative. Ihad to pay back, neither paypal or the seller are refundng me now. I lost my moeny.

I lodged a complaint against a vendor for delivering an item "materially different" that I ordered. I had the original invoice (paid) showing I ordered a velvet floor length dress. I received a poorly made dress in crepe. I was never contacted by the vendor (Shirees) for material substitution, so I did not approve the change. I provided photos of the dress received to PayPal and after a month - PayPal did NOT stand behind me. I have cancelled my PayPal account and will use my credit cards - particularly AMEX which stands behind their customers. I was due a refund as the dress sent was not at all what I ordered and PayPal failed me. Done with them.

They flagged my account for fraud and closed it. I received money from a friend and then used it to invest in my crypto wallet. The exchange I used is a reputable company. Also funds that are in my PayPal account are now being held for up to 120 days. I have no resolution to this matter

They are a scam in every which way. Everything you do is associated with a fee somehow. They hold your money and will not release it. They are the worse financial institution in the world. I was sent money that I needed and they put a 21 days hold on it. They kept asking do this and do that and nothing works. They are scam and do not have the money so they hold your money.

It’s a Scam! Just a way to get into your bank account. Once in, you can get it out. Money comes out without your consent and ruins your credit.

I hate PayPal! I never use them unless there is no option. They waste my time. I don't know who they are marketing to, but it must be people who don't care to serve their customers. I read that the most effective way to give PayPal a bad review was on Trust Pilot because PayPal cares about that. Obviously not because the rating is already one star the lowest!!!! I wish merchants would pay attention and stop using them. Every other format I'm ever directed to is easy to use. I am going to stop transacting with anyone whose only choice is PayPal or my credit card. I would rather not buy the product.

The communication with the staff is quick, and the app itself functions well. It’s fast, up-to-date, and the alerts work exactly as you would expect. The reason I’m giving it such a low rating, however, is that the information provided is often vague at best. On top of that, with PayPal, I’ve repeatedly found that there always seems to be some fee, balance, or additional amount owed just to transfer money or access my own money. After dealing with that repeatedly, it becomes frustrating and tiresome. Personally, I believe there are much better financial apps available that are more straightforward and transparent about your money and how you can access it.
