Paypal is a garbage company. This is a garbage company, and the internet abounds with horror stories. My own is that my girlfriend, now wife, sent me money occasionally when I was a student, and they locked my account until I proved I had "Shipped a non-existant' product to a 'customer.' Explaining the situation to them proved impossible. They demanded my SSN, which I didn't want to give them. They are widely known for stepping on the little guy, and if you are in a situation where you need a paypal account, do not under any circumstances leave a balance, as they are known to hold your money hostage.

Thank-you PayPal for always covering me with your Payment Protection on my Online Purchases with Merchants & Companies that use & accept PayPal. PayPal is & has always backed me up with the well needed Buyer Protection on my Online Purchases that I've had problems or bad experiences with. All in which I most always, simply file PayPal Dispute Cases for to make sure that I am & feel secure with notifying & making Merchants/Companies 50% to 100% responsible for their wrong acts & problems that they cause to me & put on me with my Purchases from them with PayPal accepted as my default Payment Method whenever possible with Online Merchants/Companies. PayPal has greatly been on my side & in favor of me with all of my filed PayPal Dispute Cases that I have had to file in the last 8 Years. Now that is a Awesome Company & something great to say & talk about. A+++

I purchased an Inflatable pool from overseas, the payment method was via PayPal. The seller sent me a much smaller, child-size pool, blatantly obvious without even opening the package. I had to go around and around with the seller and PayPal for (3) months before they relented, and refunded my money. But, not before l shipped the item back at my expense ($34 dollars). PayPal claims to reimburse for shipping but the instructions are so confusing, you can't understand them and neither does their own customer service dept. which I'm sure is deliberate. This is the 2nd time PayPal has beat me for shipping fees after receiving bad merchandise. I hate PayPal and go out of my way to not use them., a very unscrupulous company. I plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau.

They claim that they will protect you against unauthorized charges but they actually do zero investsigation and let people go into your account and send themselves money and when you open a dispute they send you an email “we determined there was no unauthorized use” paypal is not a real bank and they are absolutely terrible at protecting money. they actually are notorious for seizing funds without any legal reason and closing people’s accounts. be careful keeping money here or using it as a method of payment

Paypal limited my account and didn't leave any explanation other than "an inside analysis". I tried to call them twice but the simply explanation is that this analysis made my account not suitable to use Paypal and won't come to normal again. And i've been using it for 5 years now, without any uncommon transcation. PAYPAL IS RUBISH!!!

Losing money of the credit card 35$ (LKR. 6670.06) has reduced from my paypal account today (03 november 2020) with no reason and also an email of payment has n't recived to my account. I checked my paypal account activity and i could not find any email of payment. I think paypal is fake company.
