PartsIPS - Appliance PartsReviews of partsips.com

Don't deal with these dishonest people. I was about to order a $38 dollar part. The shipping estimator on their website said that shipping charges would be between $9 and $12, which seemed high for a small piece of plastic but I went ahead to checkout. After going through all of the checkout process, when I got to the page to place my order I found out that the shipping charge was actually $21. Luckily, I hadn't submitted the order. I erased all of my information and ordered the part from a site that lists the shipping charge on the product page.

Received the order quickly but had to pay $20 shipping and “handling”. I bit the bullet and ordered anyway bc the actual price for shipping + product ended up being cheaper than elsewhere. Received the product and it doesn’t work for my fridge. The hookups are wrong. Tried to return it and they say that they don’t exchange, they charge a 20% restocking fee, won’t refund shipping, I pay shipping back, and we have to get a return authorization code. Just not a good user experience. They make it so you pay twice for a part that may not be the right one and then you can’t return.

Claims items are in stock, but never ships. Never answers phone, no actual response, just a cancelled order after a week. They wasted my time, and failed at every part of the order except taking my money. SCAM!

Ordered a part as new, but showed up in a box that had obviously been opened and resealed with ordinary Scotch Tape. Part was defective(which I suspect they knew) and did not work properly when it was installed. Tried to return the item and was emailed their "return policy", which states there is a 20% restocking fee on all returned items and the refund was at "their sole discretion". Bad actors!

I ordered my part on 3/31/2020. I received my part on 4/1/2020. It was exactly what I ordered. I could not expect more. I would recommend this company.

Same situation as all the other reviewers - Ordered a part on 2/9 - received no notification until I sent an email on 2/14 asking when shipping was going to take place... I received a reply that day - one line - "it should ship by the end of next week" No additional information was provided. I, of course, emailed - 2/29 asking about order and received an email response on 3/2 a one-line response again and was told that "it should ship by the end of the week". No additional information was provided.... So on 3/4 sent the following email message - "I would like a little more information than what I am receiving from your company as far as what is going on with the shipment and a more definitive answer than the ones that I have been receiving.... Ordered - 2/9 Emailed - 2/14 asking about order - 2/14 was told it should ship by the end of next week. Emailed - 2/29 asking about order - 3/2 was told that it should ship by the end of the week ............................................... I am assuming you do not have this item in stock..... Do you have a definitive date of when this item will be shipped to me or not?... I think I have been patient in understanding the "15 - 20 business days" for some orders, but you have not given me any information that would keep me calm so to speak and would honestly be good customer service. If you are unable to confirm the delivery date, please let me know, I can order the part from another company and get it here in 3 - 5 business days and we can cancel the order. IF you are able to confirm a delivery date - then please let me know and if it is going to take another 8 - 10 business days, I think we should cancel the order.... Thanks for your prompt response to my inquiry." The only thing I can say about them is they are prompt to respond to email inquiries but do not provide any additional information - I received notification from their purchasing system that my order had been canceled and another email from their system saying that a refund had been provided. Their website is very misleading - "We offer OEM replacement parts of excellent quality with same-day shipping service (for In-Stock items). PartsIPS is devoted to serve our customers. Our main objective is to provide one-stop shop for all appliance parts and supplies to our customers." THEY DO NOT PROVIDE A GREAT SERVICE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE THE ITEM IN STOCK AND DO NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE STATUS OR UPDATES OF WHEN THE ITEM WILL BE SHIPPED OR AVAILABLE.....

BEWARE!!!! Stay away from this disreputable seller! Read all the complaints about them online!!

Order parts online because it says in stock and great price. After many days of no delivery notice or anything I started wondering if I was ripped off. Many calls with no answer then finally they pick up and say it will be sent out after the weekend..more time goes by and finally they answer phone again now it's two weeks out before delivery..now after that oh it's on national back order!! After this I ordered with another company and had parts in three days. The complete experience was ridiculous I could tell from the beginning I was never going to see the "IN STOCK" product. If I would have seen other reviews before ordering I would have went somewhere else. PARTSIPS is the WORST business I have ever seen!!
