Sales people who try to trap you in agreements - Avoid
I'm a CPA, at first they were very responsive in trying to win work with me. Got a good stable monthly client through them, but after that first week, they were silent. Didn't even notify me or my client when the client representative for Paro changed. They were slow to answer any questions and then charged double my rate so they got 50% and I got 50% despite them not doing any work other than collecting funds then sending my part to me. When looking at the "buy out" clause in our agreement it states that it is based on my annualized rate. Yet the rate they said was my annualized rate was double what they charged the client over 2 years, despite me being on a fixed monthly rate? This might work for a short term job with an end date, but for any recurring work, avoid like the plague. You and your client will end up paying a middle person to do nothing. TL:DR - Paro try to make the sale and then leech off of the professional's work without doing anything other than a bare minimum.
