I purchased a Thomas Kinkade painting on the Ovation of the Seas. After I negotiated the price down for 5 days, the art director and I came to a conclusion on the final price. I was ensured by him that I wouldn’t have to pay any extra costs for this artwork. I recently received an email from Fed Ex saying that I would have to pay a duty/tax fee of $450. I brought this to Park West and the representative Brittney was so unaccommodating and inflexible, not sympathetic in the least and did nothing for me despite the fact I had a verbal agreement with the art director Gideon that there was be no extras costs incurred on my behalf. I should’ve listened to these awful reviews. Do not buy from this gallery.

I purchased a print on the Norwegian Star March 2023. I waited over 4 months for the arrival of same. When I contacted Park West, I was informed they did not have the picture YET. After another month I decided to cancel the order as they could not give me a time frame if/when it might be delivered. Park West took $150 US from me saying I cancelled the order even though they did not have the picture. When after much complaining about their terrible service i was offered a promotional picture. I agreed nominating the picture of choice. Needless to say, I never received it. Park West is a scam. I bought other art which I am sure are a total rip off. I would dread to have one in particular valued for fear of being informed it is fake. I was informed it was a unique piece of art "A one off". I doubt it now. Please do yourself a favour and do not attend the art presentations on these boats.... terrible. A lesson learned unfortunately. So frustrated with the whole ordeal. Josie

I won the guess the weight of a sculpture contest they hosted on carnival. To win you had to be the person to guess the correct weight and sit through a 2 hour art auction. At the end I had to schedule a time to meet them and get my prize but the prize cost $35 for a small print. This company is fraudulent and hosts fake giveaways that are a scam. It was a waste of time for me and everyone that attended. They make you schedule a time to see the art so that the other attendees don’t realize there was actually no prize. They should be investigated because if something as simple as wining a prize turned out to be an extortion scam they are probably doing much worse to other people.

Don’t buy. They have you electronically sign for your artwork. This means you don’t see all the extra added cost to buying their so called artwork. I received an aluminum print without a frame. This was never explained to me that it didn’t come with a frame. Why would anyone buy a piece of so called artwork without a frame. Customer service gives you the run around. They are crooked and are scammers!

What can I say about Park West other than they are the biggest bunch of con-artist I have ever come across. I recently purchased three 'original' pieces of art whilst on my very first cruise and waited with baited breath for them to arrive. First 2 arrived and I thought that the pictures didn't look quite right to what I remembered on the ship but put it down to the different light. Fast forward a couple of weeks and then the third picture finally arrived. How shocked was I? The picture I'd purchased was an acrylic and what I loved was various textures. However what I received is little more than a print of the same picture. This then prompted me to take a closer look at the other two pictures which I'd already received. You guessed it, they were poorer quality pictures of the ones I'd purchased. One of them even has the wrong serial number on it. Luckily my wife was smart enough to take pictures of the pictures whilst on the ship and you can clearly see the difference in quality. So, should you buy from Park West? Absolutely not. Should Park West be prosecuted for fraud? Absolutely!

We purchased several expensive pieces from them while on our Hawaiian Cruise. One of the pieces arrived damaged, We contacted them, and they shipped us a replacement frame and told us they’d reimburse us up to $100 to have the frames changed out. We took it to the framing location and the replacement frame also arrived damaged. We contacted them a second time and they sent another replacement frame. The third replacement frame also arrived damaged. They also informed us that they do not reimburse for reframing, so they lied to us in our first correspondence with them. After writing a negative review, they reached out to us and offered to give us $250 credit to purchase another piece from them. We declined because we’re not going to purchase another piece from them when the first piece we purchased arrived damaged and is now going to cost us additional money to get fixed. They then came back and agreed to refund us $250. Today they reached out to us demanding that we sign a letter stating that we’ll remove the negative reviews, agree to never say anything disparaging about them in the future, and once we sign the agreement and AFTER we remove the review that they’ll “request” a refund of $250 from the cruise ship. I’m not removing any reviews until AFTER we’re refunded the money to our card or they send us a check and it’s cashed. All we wanted was to receive the item that we paid for in the condition it was supposed to arrive to us.

We have bought from Park West for the second time. This time was six pieces. We had a great experience this time and the time before. I hate seeing the other reviews as this does not represent the experience, we have had at all. The people have been great, the customer service was responsive and resolved the two questions we had. Many complaints seem to be around the delivery time. They make it super clear not to expect anything for 90 days. To our surprise all six have arrived in less than 60 days.
