ParkMobileReviews of parkmobile.io

I parked my car In a garage where I had to pay by app. The app didn't work so I had to wait until it came to. When it finally worked it was charging $40 an hour. I left the space, 30min had passed. I get fined $110 for 30 minutes. I disputed and they denied and charge me $90. So I will STRONGLY recommend, if the app does not for second LEAVE!! If you know the parking will be there UBER. I removed the app from my phone and will be check ever future destination I go to, to make sure I never park with them again, and I hope who ever read this does the same.

Park mobile has continued to charge me for 2 vehicles I do not have even though I have removed from app and online. They do not tell you that there is an additional step to removing vehicles and will not refund for the charges. The app will enroll you in a subscription without for warning you and they will not refund even after contacting customer support. As a business owner, this has been a horrible experience for me.

Parked in a space for jury duty and paid it up until the end of the day. We were let go for lunch and I parked in a new space. When I attempted to pay for time in another space, it told me to end my current session. I went to my current session, but there is no option to end it. I spoke with support and they said there wasn’t anything they could do and their only solution was for me to pay at the meter itself or park in a different zone. Due to being summoned and the requirements of jury duty- leaving the courthouse and being late in order to either get 6 hours of physical change for the meter or park 15 minutes away wasn’t possible. I didn’t ask for a refund for the unused time in my space, I just wanted to pay for parking at another space so I didn’t get a ticket. They force you approximate how much time you think you will need in a space and charge you for it (extending the time in a space is great if you’re physically or legally allowed to able to access a phone or a computer), they won’t allow you to be refunded for unused time, and then on top of it all if you have to move to a different parking space they won’t allow you to pay for a space in the same zone until the time has expired on the space you already paid for- no option to tell the website or app that you‘ve left that space and want to start a new one. The website, app, and support are unable to help in a scenario like this- the company is greedy and ultimately stupid for not allowing someone to pay for more spots (just terrible all around).

This app is horrible. Wanted to book advance parking at a particular garage at a university but didn’t have the zone number all the description showed was the university name but not the garage name. Plus it seems that trying to book becomes a circular endeavor with the same directions coming up time and time again. Very difficult to use

When paying for parking the app should ask what is the license plate of the car. We only use the app when we travel and have different rental cars with obviously different license plates.

Entered a code in the early evening and it turned out that at that hour there was no fee for that particular parking lot at that time. However, parkmobile decided they should charge me a service fee for telling me there was no parking charge! The customer service. both AI and human, are totally without capabilities. Both had the nerve to justify the charge rather than say "sorry, we'll credit your account."

It's BS that I need an App to park. I downloaded and used it because I had to. Now I've canceled twice and still get charges on my credit card. What a scam.

Park Mobile is an easy to use app and I have used it many times. But they are not customer service friendly. Make sure to really look over your app prior to hitting submit for your ticket because it is not obvious where the license plate selection is. I did not realize the auto select picked the wrong license plate when I parked. It would not allow me to edit the selection or cancel the ticket. I had to restart a new ticket and because I selected 5 hours on the first ticket I had to pay the $20 for a car I was not driving. I tried to call to explain the mishap on my end and took accountability for it and they let me know they do not provide refunds and their advice (which was said rudely) was to pay attention next time. We are all humans and make mistakes. It is extremely poor customer service and outside the app being easy to use this feature of the app is a poor design that should be fixed to be more clear and obvious.
