The educational material is very helpful.
I heard from my son after 7 months of him
“Taking a break” from our relationship.
Because of what I learned in just the first two months of PACT, I was able to have a calm and constructive conversation with him. The material covered can also be applied to other relationships. I’m still learning and practicing, but I am better at it. My son and his wife have thanked me for doing this course.

Take This Course To Have A Better Adult Children Relationship!
Communication had been slowly deteriorating once my son got married, ten years 2026. What I thought was normal family life was very different for his wife. I couldn’t fully understand this until Catherine’s calls. Catherine teaches great lessons with solid ‘why’ guidance. Understanding 7 non-negotiables - great first lesson.
Learning about parenting styles and how I was raised, how I raised my son, and some insight from what I knew about my son’s wife and in-laws has helped me understand some major disconnects on why my help wasn’t helpful at all, not even washing dishes. Always be a guest in your son or daughter’s home until asked otherwise. I learned how my parent’s parenting style, performance mattered, made me anxious without feedback from those around me. These video group calls with Catherine opened my eyes and conversations with my son. My three grandchildren are back in my life but to a lessor amount of time. I’m happy I have time with them and hope to get back to a few overnights a year. Never as it was but better than four+ months of no contact with them and little contact with my son. Please take Catherine’s lessons to heart. Her information really works to heal. I pray one day to open a window with my daughter in-law, until that day I continue to grow and learn lessons no one teaches you when you have adult children. May you try Catherine’s course, How to Parent Your Adult Children and heal any damage or even avoid damage to your parent child relationship. Too many parents are hurting these days and Catherine is a true lifeline! A blessing!

Parenting Adult Children Today…
Parenting Adult Children Today (P.A.C.T.) is an amazing organization! I honestly don’t know what I would have done without them. They have held my hand, guided me along the way, and helped me make better choices while teaching me more about who I am and how I got here.
When I found P.A.C.T., I was desperate, afraid, sad, and hurt. I was struggling to make sense of my family situation and didn’t know where to turn. Then, on June 18, something shifted. For the first time in a long time, I allowed myself to wonder, Maybe there is hope for my family. Maybe P.A.C.T. can help me.
That was the day I listened to Catherine Hickem on her podcast. I had considered signing up with P.A.C.T. several months earlier, but fear got the best of me, and I backed away. Looking back, I wish I had taken that step sooner. Still, I’m grateful that I finally found the courage to do it on June 18. I even worried that it might be a scam, but I decided to trust my intuition and take a chance.
My family estrangement began in late October, about 11 months ago—or at least, that’s what I initially believed. As I’ve continued to learn, reflect, and examine the past three years, I’ve come to realize that the estrangement didn’t happen overnight. It was a gradual process that had been building for some time. The incident in October simply brought everything to a head.
As I began this journey, I wondered how much I could really change. I’m 71 years old, with a lifetime of experiences behind me. I’ve survived many difficult things, and I sometimes questioned whether I could still learn new ways of thinking and responding. What I’ve discovered is that change is possible at any age. I’m learning more about myself, recognizing patterns, and finding healthier ways to navigate the challenges in my life.
Today, life feels better. I no longer feel so alone, and I’m beginning to feel something I desperately needed: hope.
And then, yesterday, something wonderful happened. For the first time in 11 months, I saw my daughter and grandchildren. We spent a lovely day together, and it was a moment I will treasure.
I know there is still a journey ahead, and I understand that rebuilding family relationships takes time, patience, and continued growth. But I’m no longer standing still in fear and sadness. I’m learning, growing, and moving forward with hope.
For that, I am incredibly grateful to P.A.C.T. and to everyone who has helped me along the way.

An average day is up at 4:00am
An average day is up at 4:00am. Devotions and meditation until 6:00Am. Get ready for the day. I attend people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, so my schedlue varies from day to day. I fit writng and on-line classes in in the evening. I am very impressed with the IT structure of this program. I find the questions asked very penerating and helpful. Not much has changed with my sons as they are in different states and if we talk it is usually only once a week. I have been practicing the new why of speaking on everyone.

Disappointed. My husband and I were approved for a…
My husband and I were approved for a “free 30 minute” interview with the company’s representative, Daniella, on 9-16-2026. Daniella was friendly, seemed knowledgeable, was compassionate and concerned, and encouraged us to participate in their on-line program geared towards parents. Daniella offered us an option of a deposit of $1,000.00 to “reserve a spot”.
Even though Daniella seemed lovely, concerned, and honest, we felt a tremendous amount of pressure by her to commit to this program. We became even more concerned about trusting our monies to them when neither of our credit cards (a VISA and an American Express) went through when Daniella tried to make the charges. American Express refused the charge twice and only approved the $1,000 deposit after I authorized the charge with AMEX directly. I became more and more uncomfortable with this commitment over the next day, and continued to feel pressured to have signed an agreement to participate (on-line). We also did not receive any commitment paperwork initially because Daniella made an error in my email address, delaying my receipt of the agreement until she realized her mistake and re-sent the document to me correctly. As my husband’s and my unease grew overnight, I called Daniella the next morning (9-17-2026), and asked to be released from the commitment and requested a refund. I also emailed the same request at the same time, to the companies email address.
Even though the agreement states that the company doesn’t give refunds, I hoped that they would be willing to refund my deposit, especially since it had only been 24 hours or less since I signed the agreement.
I have not had any response to my email and it’s been a month now. I did have a voice message from Daniella several days after my phone message to her cell phone number, in which she stated that she was sorry but that the company did not give refunds.
I was out of town for several weeks, came back to a hurricane at home and am now trying to catch up.
I sincerely hope that Catherine and her team will agree to a refund of my $1,000.00 deposit. I have not participated in any of the emailed or texted programs that the company continues to send to me. I have found it odd that they are continuing to send me program information when I only gave money towards a deposit to “hold a spot”, which is the term Daniella used to describe how my money was to be used.

Life transformation
We’ve been estranged from one of our children for going on four years. That was our motivation for joining the PACT program. However, what we’ve learned in the modules and in the workshop sessions has been invaluable in so many ways, and we’re already benefiting for applying the principles with all three of our adult children. In particular, some of the skills, like learning to pause in conversation helps us to be more relaxed and listen to them better. Also, we’re understanding that it’s no longer our job to parent our children, but to see them as separate individuals who make their own choices and have their own values. We’ve even had one of our children comment to us how much our support has meant. We’re so thankful to have found this program that is helping us to learn things we wish we had known years ago!

Hope restored!
My son and I have been estranged for two years now. I did everything I could to apologize, make amends, sent gifts, money, texts, stopping by to say Hi, going to therapy to no avail. He continued to block myself and our whole family including his siblings, his father, his uncles aunts cousins and his 93 year old grandmother who ALL love him! I’ve been praying so long and boom! The Lord answered my prayer! I found Catherine on Instagram or Facebook I don’t remember speaking about her program and her vast experience with estranged parents and children. What a ministry she has! The information she has gleaned over the years in her PARENT method is spot on! I am devouring every presentation. I now see the path to hope and change! Surprisingly the change begins with me! And I can control that!! I see how this program is also helping me better understand my other two young adults. The benefits are so rich. Even if my son never responds back to me, there’s no guarantee- I am changing for the better for all of my other relationships. Priceless!
