I found this program while searching for any kind of insights, help, or guidance I could find. I now feel more confident in my decisions on how to proceed, guided by someone with real expertise and years of experience with this situation. Before, I didn't know whether what I was or wasn't doing was helping or hurting — now I have more objective guidance. I feel more at peace knowing I will have done everything in my power, and it's easier to live with and feel optimistic.

Catherine Hicem’s webinar
I recently attended Catherine Hickem’s webinar, I felt I was missing an important piece in the lives of my 4 adult children. I raised 4 kids on my own after an unexpected divorce, and along the way I began to hold too tight. My kids were my closest people and without realizing I was trying to get some of my neediness met through them. I could see I was hurting the relationship with my son especially. He didn’t feel heard, I knew it was me, but what was the next step. I went into Catherine’s session praying, “ Lord I am desperate and I do not want to continue this pattern, please meet me here tonight.” He did, Catherine shared clearly how I was no longer parenting or managing in anyway their lives, and to listen just to listen was empty. She helped me see why I need to step back and how that’s healthy for me and then, I am their ally now. A few weeks later my sons family invited me over for dinner, he picked me up after work and he shared about his life, and work and it was unlike what we’ve known before, I was not sharing anything unless it was asked, and guess what, it wasn’t asked! I do that with friends and peers now which I have prayed for and the Lord has brought some. After dinner we played a board game, laughter and peace with him and my grandaughters. I’m still learning, but my “pausing, and listening” now has a healthy purpose.. they want to connect with me, and to share with their parent !! So much advice and learned skills on social media didn’t line up with my faith, Catherine’s did, it wasn’t religious suggestions but honest wisdom! If your a parent and you know the issue lies with you, I encourage you to pray and jump in like I did

Parenting Adult Children
For 20 years my relationship with my eldest adult child has been rocky at best and heartbreaking at its worst. I always seemed to be walking on eggshells around her. This past summer out of nowhere she lashed out and told me she was done with me due to my toxic nature, among other things. In a moment of darkness and despair I came across a Catherine Hickem reel on social media. Her description of the challenges of parenting adult children struck a chord with me. I reached out to learn more and ultimately joined the program. I am early in my journey however I have seen immediate positive results from the first PACT module. I find I am less reactive and she has responded by thanking me for giving her the space she needed. The program and community make me feel less alone with the circumstances. Invest in yourself. You are worth it.

Help is here
The ad on Facebook offered a free introduction to the parenting adult children today program. I was feeling this wall of anger every time I communicated with my son. I asked him what I was doing to cause this. He couldn’t pinpoint it. He told me that unless I got help we would never have a better relationship. I spoke to some therapists but they didn’t seem like the right fit. When I saw the ad
On Facebook, that ad described exactly what I needed. Catherine is one of the most knowledgeable person on this particular issue. Her classes and modules have taught me how my behavior was causing the issues with my son. Now my son has opened up and shared with me things that he would never have shared in the past. Our relationship is so much better. Thank you Catherine

This is one of the best decisions I've…
This is one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself. It has taught me so much about myself, my mistakes ,about being aware about pausing when my gut tells me something is not right. it has been so far very deep, still crying and healing and very appreciative of Catherine, reminding me not to be so critical on myself so much more to learn on how to be the best version of myself. Incredible amounts of real life experiences shared, different styles of teaching, lots of topics to delve in to and self-reflect, a community of people to encourage you in this life, journey and transformation.

THIS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE!
The Program has already given me more skills than I ever dreamed I'd gain. I'm so much more aware of the mistakes I used to make, and now I'm thinking about and changing my own behavior. My relationship with my adult child has improved considerably. As far as the Program goes, my only regret is that I didn't find it years ago! Catherine's lessons have made an enormous difference in my life!

I found this parenting course just when…
I found this parenting course just when I needed it. I felt helpless and without a path forward. And just knowing that there were steps I could take, enabled me to take back some control - that really helped.

I thought I had a great relationship…
I thought I had a great relationship with my adult children until, I didn't. My 29 year old daughter lashed into me like never before on my way to the airport after a visit. I didn't respond well, I cried, no sobbed, and then felt numb the following week.
By the grace of God, and I truly believe that, a sound bite of Catherine showed up on social media about PACT. I was skeptical but felt desperate, and it spoke to me, I clicked on it. I listened, prayed, and then made an appointment. Still skeptical about being ripped off, I put the nice, kind gentleman through the wringer on the phone (threatening to call the BBB if not legit)!
I have been a member of PACT for 6 months now. The things I have learned about myself, my adult children, and my roll as a Mom, and GG to 3 beautiful granddaughters is priceless. My biggest "first take away" was "pause, pause, pause." I am (was) a reacter, not a responder. I have absorbed every word, tear, and fellow parent's pain in this process.
I have clutched onto all the words of wisdom that I have learned through weekly lectures, chats and on-line support. I am pleased to report that my relationships with both my 28 and 30 yr. old adult children, and their spouses is sooooo much better. It is an ongoing process but one I'm willing to partake in, as I always want to be a part of my children's lives, and welcomed into their homes, not just tolerated. They can tell, I can feel it, and we as parents are never too old to stop learning and loving. I feel very blessed that I found PACT when I did.
