Poor business practices
I discussed the options available with a sales rep on Friday July 10. Made a tentative decision based on funding and further review of my notes and online information. Placed a $500 deposit on the program while possible funding with American Express was followed up. Rep said she would call me on Monday July 13. After review of my notes and more research, I decided that this program wasn’t a good fit for me. No call came on Monday, so I called Monday night and left voicemail and sent a text message that I declined to continue and please return my deposit. On Tuesday, the rep called and told me she didn’t get either communication. I told her I didn’t want to continue with this process and asked for my deposit back. Since then there have been multiple texts and phone calls requesting my $500 deposit back. Still nothing. There was no mention of non refundable or refundable. It’s now 5 weeks with no refund nor clear information on when to expect it. This is poor customer service and unethical business practice.

Thank you for writing this, and I'm sorry. You asked for your deposit back and it took us far too long, with too little communication along the way. That is on us, not you. Your refund has been issued in full. We have since changed how deposits and refund requests are handled so no parent waits like this again. I'm also sorry the program wasn't the right fit at that moment; I genuinely hope you find the support that is. If anything is still unresolved, email me directly at [email protected] and I will handle it personally. — Catherine Hickem, Founder
