I'm an instructor certified by another agency, who wants to do a crossover to PADI (read: pay money to PADI). I have been trying for 3 months to get information, had a course director order the IDC crew pack (which came incomplete and no info about how to access digital materials), and the PADI rep that I and my course director have had to speak with is like talking to a wall. Crossovers have been around for years - this is nothing new, But to send your money and get nothing but the run-around has made me no longer want to join PADI. I do not believe in non-transparency and obfuscation, and will not treat students that way. I will stick with my much more user-friendly, responsive, sensical, honest, certification agency.

Elearning website extremely slow performance
The elearning platform is literally crap.
The performance is ridiculously slow. We are in 2020 guys! How can it be that I lost hours just reloading modules and questionnaires? I have been taking the course with my girlfriend and we have both been completely letdown by the elearning site.

Hello Ove!
Thank you for reaching out. We did launch the Open Water program on a new platform within the last several months.
We did move over to this new platform in order to help alleviate a lot of the errors/concerns that were experienced with the old platform.
We do encourage you to give this new platform for the elearning a try.
Please feel free to reach out to [email protected] with any additional comments/questions

Can't register.
I'm supposed to start my PADI open water 2 day course in 3 days and can't do the e-learning because of their stupid website bugging. When I want to register it constantly says that my email address is not valid, even though I've tried 6 of them (gmail, outlook, etc so nothing shady).
I'm probably not gonna be able to do it and end up paying more at the diving school. F*** this really.

I am so upset with padi
I am so upset. I paid $1000 for my son to get certified and now he can’t submit quiz 5 which he took multiple times. It says your submission failed undefined. I left multiple messages for padi. Without the quiz going through he can’t take the final. Without the final he can’t take the water class he was signed up for. I called and left messages

Abzocke PADI

Stupid rules need changing!!!
Stupid rules need changing!!!! I made a mistake filling out my medical form & now I need a Doctors note. Not sure why they can’t resend me the medical form? Now this turned into a unpleasant experience because Padi can’t resend the medical form. It has been a headache because of a stupid mistake Instead of an Epic adventure.

Thank you so much for your feedback!
Unfortunately we have encountered situations where a diver has filled out the form correctly (answering yes to a few items) and then afterwards claimed they made a mistake to avoid going to the doctor after finding out that it was required to do so; in some cases resulting in injury as well.
While we do understand your frustration, the safety of our divers is of paramount importance and due to these previous examples we have had to implement a strict policy regarding Medical Forms
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this!
Sincerely,
Brandon

Vorsicht! Abzocke...
Was gar nicht geht:
