The app is glitchy on the try to go back n forth between different chapters, make it very annoying and frustrating to study. the final exam scores doesn't get updated after completing the test, have to re-do the thing. Luckily instructor is patient n guiding through the process.

I did the course in german and there are multiple translation errors. A lot of sentences are twice and some sentences make no sense. Please fix it

PADI Open Water kursus gennem Sunweb i Hurgada, Egypten. Ikke certificerede instruktører anvendes af Sunweb. Der er intet krav om at bog/ infomateriale skal udleveres FØR første dyk. Dette gør PADI til en usikker metode at lærer at dykke. I Hurgada gennem Sunweb modtog vi 2 dykkerdage med Sunwebs PADI certificerede instruktør - før PADI bog blev modtaget. Men der var skaden allerede sket; væske i mellemørene og revne i trommehinden. Sunwebs PADI instruktør gik imod PADI bogens principper/ guidelines da vi dykkede. Skaden er nu sket og ferien total ødelagt. Havde vi haft mulighed for at få den teoretiske viden og bog inden dykkene, var dette aldrig sket. At PADI ikke har kontrol med hvornår information gives i deres guidelines for instruktører viser at dette ikke er sikker dykkeruddannelse for alle os som tager kurset for at få introduktion og sikkerhed under vandet. Det er russisk roulette i forhold til den instruktør du får.

I have completed various PADI training over the years and paid for each and every course. Now that I want to download a record of my training on the PADI app on my phone I have to pay another £35 *per certification*. I feel this is steep although, they have replied to say there's a discount for multiple certifications, and that downloading the eCards is optional. Have edited my review accordingly.

PADI has been unfairly slated in many of the reviews - I worked as a divemaster a while back. I can tell you from experience that if you felt like the course was rushed or the instructor was poor, well that has nothing to do with PADI. Those are the result of the dive centre you use. The PADI guidelines for a dive centre are strict and deliver a very good service, but many (if not most) dive centres take liberties. Not least because the guidelines are exhaustive and some dive centres see it as an unnecessary hassle. PADI does have it's faults - it is expensive and they are very money oriented. I'm not their biggest fan by any margin but they do deliver what is in my opinion the best scuba experience available as an organisation. Although I did not use the e learning from other reviews, I would give it a miss..
