I've spent the last few days trying to study for my Open Water Diver course and every few minutes the website will freeze and sometimes crash my browser. I don't know how a website can be built so badly and it is extremely frustrating to use This review might be preaching to the choir with the amount of 1 star reviews already made 😂

Abbsolute Rubbish.I have spent the past hour trying to change to an e card and you keep getting so far then cancel s everything and sends you back to beginning

The PADI Website and App are poorly-designed and offers very poor performance. At the very least, make it easy to read and do the learning. It pauses while you are just trying to read and scroll down a section. They should just put everything in a PDF file and then save the website for the test questions and quizzes. Please hire competent IT people to build and optimize your website. The application is not that complicated so there is no excuse that it performs as poorly as it does. It is loading mostly text - no reason it has to have a loading bar take that long. Just load all the text on the section!

Eine Absolute Unverschämtheit! Jetzt muss ich mein Telefon und die Plastikkarten mit aufs Schiff oder entfernte Strände, etc mitnehmen um mich mit einem BILD! in einer App auszuweisen. Wenn ein technisches Zertifikat dahinterstehen würde o.ä. aber 42€ für ein dummes Bild in einer App... absolute Frechheit! edit: Ich habe bereits Verbindung zum Customer Service Europa aufgenommen. Die freundliche Dame versteht aber leider kein englisch und oder möchte nichts an dieser Situation ändern. Dazu kommt jetzt auch, dass mein AOWD als Bild auf dem Telefon nicht anerkannt wird… Muss ich diesen jetzt wirklich nochmal bei SSI wiederholen? Meine Buddies werden ihre Brevetierungen aufgrund dessen nun nicht bei PADI durchführen und ich meine weiteren auch nicht mehr.

I was wondering if I'm the only one. Doesn't look like... I logged into the "pro's website" and now I can't log out anymore. Doesn't matter if I'm clicking on log out and then restart the browser or closing the page. I'm still logged into my account. Do I really have to delete the cookies to log out safely?! I usually don't write reviews but I'm fed up with PADI. There's always a new problem when I try to use the joke of an APP or the page. I have serious doubts about the safety of my data on their page. Why don't you take the responses of the people serious PADI?! I wouldn't trust any company with such an amount of negative feedback.

Neu erhält man keine Plastikkarten mehr. Diese kostet zusätzlich 48CHF. Man erhält nur noch die eCard welche in der PADI App angezeigt werden kann. Möchte man nun die bestehenden Karten auch in der App haben um alles zu vereinen, kostet es ebenfalls nochmals 48CHF pro eCard. Für was 48CHF? Um ein bestehendes Zertifikat einer App hinzuzufügen was vielleicht grad mal 5 Min. dauert? Bei direkter Nachfrage erhält man keine Antwort auf die Frage: Mit was ist dieser Preis gerechtfertigt? Auch kommt PADI einem nicht entgegen.

The app is useless. I cannot view the details of my certification there. I tried going to learning.padi.com /certifications and all I see is a list of my certs - just the name of the certs, that's it! Clicking on it asks you to purchase an e-card if you haven't purchased it for $48 - it gives no other relevant details. I have also read their responses to other comments about e-cards - about "how it is optional and your plastic card should work everywhere". So my question is if it is optional - why charge $48. It would be great to just have a digital copy of your card with you. We live in a digital age, and everyone from my credit card company to my transit card to my airline boarding pass provides a digital copy of my plastic card. It should be a convenience that PADI should offer its customers. About the dive log - it's terrible. Having worked in the field of building consumer web products, I can tell you I could have done a better job of it as a teenager. Half the inputs in there don't save properly, images that I upload don't show up. And the worst part, I cannot access the log on the mobile app - it redirects you from the PADI app to load it on the mobile web broswer. My question is - why bother running a website that you clearly do not seem to want to support or invest in?

Padi sucks… their app is sub par. They claim to want to support the ocean and the environment yet they want to change $48 for EACH e-card!! I have four certificates … That’s so beyond ridiculous!! You do not love the ocean if you are going to charge an arm and a leg for e-cards instead of making e-card the default and charge more for plastic cards!!! I am going to transfer to another company likely SSI. The SSI app is amazing! And my ecerts are all right in the app!
