Re: your reply to my review: None of of the options you state were presented to me. I was told the unit had a one year warranty, period, the only option was to return the unit for repair. That is a fact. No one said anything about a "recertified replacement unit (REX) to minimize downtime" I assume this would be a FREE replacement because if I had to buy it, that is not a reasonable option! For note, the time it took to pay for your repair bill of $175 was also a joke. The CSR had the wrong address associated with the credit card even though I had clearly provided this information previously. If your typical turnaround time including shipping and repair is, as you say, 2-3 weeks, that is also a reason for a customer to shop elsewhere. I remain unconvinced that Inogen is a top of the line portable oxygen concentrator. For the high price and aggravation (most importantly being without the use of oxygen for 2 weeks!) it is just not worth the investment.

Thank you for your feedback—we understand how frustrating it can be without your unit and waiting for updates. To clarify, your portable oxygen unit is covered under a 3-year warranty; however, the issue involves the columns, which carry a 1-year warranty and therefore are no longer covered under the manufacturer's warranty. We did review available options with you, including offering a recertified replacement unit (REX) to minimize downtime, but you preferred not to go that route. Once a unit is sent in for service, the typical turnaround time—including shipping and repair—is approximately 2–3 weeks. We know that can feel like a long time when you rely on your equipment, and we are actively working to complete your repair and return it as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and are happy to provide status updates at any time—please feel free to reach out to our support team directly at 877-303-9289 for the latest information.

The people I spoke with were bendover backwards kind and helpful. Tho' I had written a review that was negative, I realize I was wrong. I just let myself be twisted around backwards. The fault was my lack of understanding. Thank you for getting me on right tract 'Oxygen Concentrator Store. Clyde

So far so good. I’m not sure exactly which service I’m being asked to review, but I’m assuming it involves sending my old unit in for service and repairs. I was notified promptly when my unit was received by the service department. Shipping time does seem a bit excessive, took a couple of weeks for it to get there but such is the state of affordable economy shipping. I was informed that they would contact me if additional funds became necessary for the repair. Other than that, so far so good. I’m hopeful that the repairs and services proceed smoothly, I’ll have to wait and see.

Thank you for the detailed feedback, Gregory! We're glad communication has been clear throughout the repair process. We understand the shipping timeline was longer than ideal, and we appreciate your patience. The unit is currently at the manufacturer repair facility and we'll keep you updated via emails.
