I would definitely recommend own up to others seeking a mortgage. My rep Matt was awesome. He checked in with me every week, gave good advice, and was an organized communicator with all the parties involved. I appreciate that Own Up did the comparison shopping for me, and the ability to create my own custom pre-approval letters on the fly was key, since I did have to submit multiple offers in this market! The lender I wind up using worked out beautifully. Thank you!

We tried OwnUp on a bit of a whim while we were negotiating with our bank and previous mortgage provider on a refinance. It was painful going through the process the traditional way and we were hitting a slow spot, so we thought it couldn't hurt to try something new. Yefri was our representative and after a quick form and meeting with him, he was giving us a set of daily rates in different configurations, most of them met or beat the rates we worked hard to get from the traditional avenues. Yefri would update the OwnUp custom offers daily, and even reconfigured the list for us a time or two. It was a big help, and now we are super happy having chosen Mutual of Omaha through OwnUp as our refinancing company! Words words words am I right?. Not in this case. I recently closed on a house (investment property) (#firstworldproblems) using Own Up. Own up served as a concierge of sorts for my real estate deal. I had only recently heard about them prior to purchasing this new home. I came across this house and was looking to buy it along with everyone and their brother. Not knowing what own up was about or what they could do I reached out. I was thrown instantly into the home buying experience. Once I connected with Steve from Own up a lot of things began to come together quickly. I questioned Steve like crazy because Im typically a skeptical person and am not very trusting, (but thats a different review for a different day). In addition, the seller wanted a quick closing, oh and I live out of the state I was purchasing in. What could possibly go wrong?! With all of the things I had going on for this purchase Steve handled business and my concerns during the whole process very well. He constantly checked in with me, made himself available for any questions I had, and made sure everything went smooth between me, my realtor, and the lender. I would highly recommend saving yourself the time and the headache of the run around and just reach out to Own Up if youre considering buying a home. I had a great experience with Steve even though there were a lot more variables and extra details to consider with my specific purchase. I dont typically write reviews (good or bad) unless the experience or product was noteworthy for me. This was a great experience. The end result?! Lets just say I got a house out of the deal. We found Own Up after getting quotes for a re-fi and not finding anyone that gave us the detailed info we really needed, or the competitive quotes that would provide the best rates. Own Up was great - easy to work with, great technology, capable professionals, and excellent rates. Jen was great. I had originally looked into this website because I was interested in refinancing and I was shopping around for different rates. I had put in my information expecting them to sell my info but before I knew it I was on the phone with a representative explaining my rate options. It was so easy that many times throughout the process I thought I was being scammed. There was communication back and forth throughout the process with the loan officer, and before I knew it the closing was scheduled within 6-8 weeks of first applying. The attorney even came to do the closing in my own home, which was great because I have a newborn. Within a week my refinance had been processed, my previous loan fulfilled, and I had a check in my hand. I finally realized it was real when my previous mortgage was paid off. Will be using this company again on future investments.
