My owlet sock 3 worked PERFECTLY until I changed my home WiFi, which you’d think since it worked fine with my old provider is should work fine with my new one? NOTTTT. I contacted owlet care for assistance on fixing the device, as surely there’s something IM doing wrong considering it worked perfectly fine a few weeks ago. So after a week or so of back and forth sending screenshot after screenshot to one of their customer service team they come back with sorry your device is now defective but you’re 4 months out of the 2 year warranty so nothing can be done you’ll just need to buy a replacement. WHYYYY wouldn’t they check that first instead of wasting my time making me send screenshots and speed tests for them to just fob me off in the end anyway. It’s such a shame but I LOVED my owlet and the peace of mind it gave me and I used to recommend it all the time. I certainly won’t bother anymore!

Do not buy if you want any sleep This device is grossly overpriced for what it is. I've put it on my daughter after what can only be described as a "clunky" set up procedure. It's currently 20 minutes to 5 in the morning and she's had it on since about 2300. In that time it's now triggering "hush little baby don't you cry" alert both on my phone and the pad has gone off 25 times. Stating its lost connection with baby. That isn't the case and once I switch the base on and off weirdly it reconnects just fine. It's even gone off medical emergency red once and my baby is absolutely fine. All this device has done has caused massive anxiety. I'm now sitting up with my daughter watching her sleep to make sure there's no issues. Buying the owlet was supposed to be peace of mind. ITS NOT. Please take my advice. Don't do it.

I bought the owlet dream sock in anticipation of my baby girl arriving to ensure peace of mind in the first few weeks of her life. She arrived on weds 11th September and unfortunately I have spent all week trying to get it to work to no avail. I have tried repeatedly every day, contacted customer support on the live chat every day and just seem to be going around in circles. I keep getting the error message “can’t find device, unable to register base” despite both green lights being on, I then also seem to get an error message saying I need to log out and rejoin from a different region… even though I have selected “any other region” for the uk. My husband has also tried repeatedly, we have reset the device, and our router several times and we are becoming increasingly frustrated. The chat has been absoutely useless and I cannot get through to an actual person- it keeps saying “unfortunately there is no one here to assist” even though it’s supposed to be from 10am. For a £399 piece of technology I’m absolutely appalled- I can’t get in touch with anyone over the phone as there is no number and I’m at my wits end. This is not how I wish to be spending the first week of my little girls life. I am going to return the device and do not recommend

It’s a great idea but doesn’t work as advertised. The sock itself works fine but the app that you need to use is really awful. If you’re looking to use it for real time heart rate then it works fine. If you want to use it to track your baby’s sleep it’s unusable. It can take a whole 24 hours for your sleep data to show up in the app. I assumed this must be a bug but when I talked to customer support they told me it was expected and I should just use the real time features. Personally I don’t want to watch my iPhone the entire night. The whole reason we bought this was to be able to better understand how our baby is sleeping. For data > 24 hours there is a history function but there’s no actionable insights or easy way to view data over a longer period, you can only look at charts for 1 day at a time. This is a very expensive product and the quality and usefulness is no where near enough to warrant the price.

Do not buy this, you will regret it, you will waste your money, and you will not get it working properly. Reason: It's a 100% scam product. 1. It doesn't work the 100ft it says, I've thoroughly tested this and had a replacement device, it has the standard Bluetooth 25-30ft range but struggles through walls. 2. It only supports 2.4ghz and support will use this as an excuse for everything. I have 2 ISP's wired to my home, both have issues with this device. I setup a 2.4GHZ only wifi network, it still has issues. 3. Support is completely useless. 4. If you turn it off, it will force something called Recovery Mode, which means it'll automatically turn back on. This is incredibly frustrating, if you turn off Recovery Mode, that too will turn itself back on the next time you start a session 5. The only warnings you'll ever hear in your whole life, are "Connection lost to sock!", that is it. I would not trust this for any actual health or risk. Using it for a peace of mind is nothing but placebo. 6. The app is AWFUL, it will get stuck on screens, it has a stupid flow. For example it will get stuck on "put sensor on base station" even if it already is on there... You're paying upwards of £300 for something that feels cheap, is about £30 worth of products. This product is a scam because it does not do anything it sets out to do. Just think, why does no governing body recommend this product? Why has it failed to meet any industry standard, it has to rebrand just to avoid being targeted by the FDA. We have spent weeks trying to get this sorted. Read all other reviews here, realise how it isn't popular, because it's trash. I 1000000% regret buying this, we have forced the retailer to offer a return.

No customer support whatsoever. AI bot is shocking, no one to talk to. Ours hasn’t worked for weeks. Ended up paying for a subscription on our phones for a fraction of the price. Avoid these products and this company it’s useless
