Brought in 2024 , used it wheh daughter was poorly for reassurance. Stopped working a couple of months ago when we had our second baby , for £300 and nothing wrong from our side seeing as the sensor in the sock had stopped working you’d think customer service would be a bit better. Won’t be buying again from this company very poor customer service.

Two failed sensors and no support from Owlet
I really wanted to love Owlet, and honestly, I did when it worked. Unfortunately, after experiencing two sensor failures, I'm very disappointed in both the product's reliability and the company's customer support.
We purchased our Dream Sock in July 2024 for our second baby. The original sensor stopped working after just 1–2 months, and Owlet replaced it under warranty.
After our son grew out of it, we stored the device for about a year. We recently started using it again with our third baby, and everything worked perfectly for four months until the sensor suddenly stopped working overnight. It no longer charges, lights up, or connects to the base station.
I reached out to Owlet, explained that this was our second failed sensor, provided proof of purchase, and shared the previous replacement details.
Their response? The warranty has expired, and there's nothing they can do or offer. Not even a small discount toward another sensor.
I understand that warranties have expiration dates, but I also believe a premium baby product should last longer than this, especially with relatively limited actual use.
What disappointed me most wasn't just the second failure, but the complete lack of flexibility or willingness to help a returning customer.
We have three young children, and Owlet gave us peace of mind during those early months. I genuinely appreciated the product, which makes this experience even more frustrating.
Now I'm left deciding whether to spend another $129 on a sensor that might fail again. At this point, I've lost confidence in the product and the company.
I hope Owlet takes feedback like this seriously and improves both sensor reliability and after-warranty support.

I wouldn’t recommend Owlet products
I can’t recommend avoiding these baby monitors enough, the sleep sock sounds great on paper, but constant false alarms and disconnecting from Bluetooth makes the sock more of an annoyance than a help, with the false alarms waking up the baby. We stopped using it after the first week, due to all of the issues.
We have and (try) to use the owlet cam2 as our baby monitor, it will only connect to my wife’s phone for some reason, even though we’ve made sure all of the internet frequencies/ bandwidth is correct for the device, on other phones/ tablets it just won’t connect.
The pairing is useless and when it does chime, we get a 10 minute loading screen while it tries to connect only for it to fail.
The wire is so thin and fragile in the back of the camera, any movement at all and the camera will shut off.
Again, the camera and sleep sock are great ideas on paper, but I can’t help feeling that these devices (especially the sock) are quite predatory to first time parents, making you feel like you have to get these sort of things for assurance.
Just stick to a regular monitor.

The support from this company is…
The support from this company is inadequate (it sucks!) you interact with a bot while staff respond in emails with explanations rather than solutions. This situation undermines a product intended for infants and is damaging avoid purchasing it. Hopefully, the company will vanish from the market.

The worst customer experience I have…
The worst customer experience I have ever seen. Base station was broken and wouldn't connect to anything. Spent weeks trying to speak to support who are either bots or people trying to spread each communication over 3 business days. Never got a refund or replacement.

I wish I head read the reviews before I…
I wish I head read the reviews before I wasted my money. Base failed to connect to the WiFi, did about an hour of troubleshooting by myself because tech support dont open until 11am uk time. Then spend an hour with them on the chat, they simply cut off the chat and said they would email me me. Which they did asking for proof of purchase and havnt heard from them since.

Evil Uncharitable company
My daughter spent hundreds of dollars on your products and they tragically lost every possession in a devastating house fire 5 days ago and your company says a big no to replacing a monitor. When all they left with was the clothes on their backs and the dream sock.
Such a disgusting cold disdain and utter lack of charity from @owletcare for our most precious little humans. It's beyond comprehension.
Your response was " they should have renters insurance or house and contents insurance "
Despicable and evil especially given this young family live in a remote farm with no close access to hospital and ambulance services and you say you care about babies ?
A homeless person is more charitable Owelet you should be ashamed . Greed and lack of compassion is beyond belief 👎
