Brought in 2024 , used it wheh daughter was poorly for reassurance. Stopped working a couple of months ago when we had our second baby , for £300 and nothing wrong from our side seeing as the sensor in the sock had stopped working you’d think customer service would be a bit better. Won’t be buying again from this company very poor customer service.

The app sucks. Takes multiple times to load for you to actually see your child on the monitor. It also has a lag. While the peace of mind with the sock monitor is great, wish I would have gone with the nanit instead for monitoring purposes.

Sometimes it works but typically drops signal and spend more time working to connect and keep connected. Overall it’s OK but good when it does work. (Would not purchase again or recommend)

I have to say that although I’ve managed to connect the camera and the sock, the amount of false alarms that are triggered just because she’s moving is ridiculous! They’re so loud aswell and wakes my husband up and I have to run back to the base while I’m doing nappy change every minute to switch it off! Why invent such a system! Also the base disconnects so easily and I have to wait until it’s finished its tantrum to start the session again in the middle of the night! As for the camera, it works most of the time but every single time when I’m monitoring my child during the day, the camera goes off connection for at least a few minutes and I can’t see what’s going on anymore which scares me! Please fix your connection issues at this price!

I have used the owlet camera for over two years and have sometimes had issues with the app freezing or requiring a hard reset but other than that it was fine- until it was not. I can no longer connect my camera to my phone it simply won’t connect to the QR code and it clearly has become faulty. After TWO WEEKS of troubleshooting, downloading apps and testing WiFi connections, sending my download versions and app versions and so much more I feel like I’m getting absolutely nowhere with the technical support. For the amount of money I have paid for this product I am simply finding it tedious now and never ending. It’s as if they just don’t want to believe their product isn’t working. I’m fed up of waiting for a resolution now and have had to fork out £50 for an alternative monitor while all this carry on is happening.

Kind of wish I never bought it. Isn't compatible with Google home, disconnects all the time, lags when trying to view clips, blue light on the camera is quite bright and makes my baby want to play with the shadows it casts. Overall disappointed. The best thing about it is the clipping system it comes with the hide the wires. We didn't get the sock so can't say anything about that.

When it works its a helpful piece of mind, but the UI is borderline unusable, and reliability and troubleshooting issues are near constant. Would not reccomend this product.

My owlet sock base station quit connecting to WiFi after less than 10 months of use. Then owlet refused to honor their warranty of 1 year from the date of registration. They decided to go off my date of purchase. July 19th 2024. My child was born in January of 2025. The product quit working at the beginning of December of 2025. After providing owlet customer service with all the necessary proof showing that the product wasn’t working correctly they still denied a replacement. The sock and base were still working without WiFi, but after following the directions of the customer service rep to try to factory reset the device, it made the base quit working entirely. I provided proof to them of that as well. They again denied a replacement. I paid $200+ (thanks to it being on sale during Amazon prime days) only for it to quit working after 10 months of use. Also it did not fit my son until March of 2025 but I was still going off the date I got home from the hospital with him and registered the device. Which was in January. Overall I loved the sock, but it was very disappointing that they would not honor their warranty policy that is clearly stated on their website.
