Customer service is non-existent. They will try their best to be as unhelpful as possible or they will just ignore you depending on the issue you are raising. For a £400 product, you would think they could afford to train their staff on how to respond to an email but apparently not, let alone actually resolve anything. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE SCAMMERS. Cheeky Rascals are exactly what they are, fraudsters.

Everything went wrong really. The company as a whole is insanely untrustworthing. One day you buy their product for a friends baby shower and by the time she opens the box as her baby arrives the company has just randomly decided to turn off all the tech and made all the products redundant. This company could invent a time machine or a magic pill to solve all the world's issues and still there would be nothing they could do to ever make me trust them again.

Absolute waste of money, awful product, terrible customer service! We went for a little trip so it disconnected from our WiFi and asked us to re-pair our cam 2. It worked for 2 years (although would always disconnect in the middle of a night and you find your baby crying without hearing it through the device!) and suddenly stopped. Everytime would come to “finishing up” and then come up with either OC21 or OC20. I had been going through all circles of hell with their unhelpful customer service for about 7 days when they just kept repeating themselves once a day and eventually we had to buy another camera as my child just started sleeping in her big girl’s bed and we really needed to have eyes on her. Customer service was awful and unhelpful, they also kept insisting that my WiFi was incompatible although we have used the very same one for 2 years. I checked it anyway and it was all correct. Then after a week worth of battling them and leaving bad reviews they sent me a new camera acknowledging that their software went faulty and the camera I had cannot update. I explained that we needed it in the same colour as it was matching the wall. My daughter doesn’t like change. They ignored that and still sent the average white one. Well, at least it works…for now. Still not putting it back on the wall anymore, useless, expensive and is not worth the hassle. So disappointed. Will never recommend anyone.

DONT BUY!!! I purchased this sock from a local company in Ireland! The sock wouldn't register! It is simply faulty and I have tried everything to get it to work over and over! Followed their instructions! I have been going over and back with the company and Owlet with about 3 weeks as the company is in America I get one email a day from them!!! They will not just refund me for this stupid sock that doesn't work.

As first time parents it was peace of mind to watch how baby slept with heartbeat and oxygen levels and it worked wonderfully until age 4 months. There were a few connectivity issues mainly when we were rocking to sleep it would say awake when he was asleep in our arms. However, at 4 months baby started getting burn marks on their foot where the chip is located; not the laser. We are not using any longer due to this issue. Would like to see what radiation level is at the chip to see what is touching baby's skin.

Put simply the WIFI connection just doesnt work, they clearly have to go back to the drawing board because all the reviews are the same. We were using it for a few months, it then lost connection with WIFI and cannot find my internet when I try to reconnect, even though all other devices can connect. Its only supported by 2GHZ (dont know why) so we had to split our 5GHZ and 2GHZ when initially setting up. It eventually connected to that through no help of their customer service. But now its gone back to no connections in area. Dumping this product and using competitor, just a shame I spent money on it.

Schlimmster Kundenservice überhaupt! Am Anfang funktionierte alles gut, dann hat jedoch nach wenigen Nutzungen der Sensor versagt, jede Nacht gab es Verbindungsabbrüche mit gelbem Alarm, dies hat sowohl uns als auch unser Baby unnötig geweckt. Ich bin nun seit Wochen! mit dem Support in Kontakt, ständig werden wirre Anweisungen gegeben, die ich ausführen soll. Nach Ausführung und erneutem Kontakt wird dann ein Video verlangt, wie ich diese ausführe. Es nimmt keine Ende und ist mittlerweile einfach nur noch lächerlich. Ich bin super verärgert, so viel Geld für die Tonne. Die Socke sollte uns Sicherheit geben, nun liegt sie seit Wochen im Schrank, da wir nicht jede Nacht mehrmals das Baby aufwachen lassen wollen um die Socke neu zu verbinden.

The owlet sock gave us real peace of mind as first time parents, especially during those early months. It’s very reassuring to be able to keep an eye on things like heart rate and oxygen levels at home. That’s said, when our daughter was unwell and we visited a doctor, they pointed out that these devices can make parents focus too much on the numbers rather than how the baby is actually doing. Another drawback is that the socks stretch out quite quickly and become too loose - I had to buy multiple replacements, which aren’t cheap. For the price of the device, I would have expected them to last longer. Despite those issues, if I had another baby, I’d definitely use the owlet sock again for the reassurance it brings.
