Great online store with great customer service.

Commandé un meuble sur Overstock pour livraison en France. Import pris en charge par Bongo, via FedEx. Au vu des nombreux avis négatifs, j'étais un peu inquiet en attendant ma commande... Finalement tout s'est bien passé, le meuble est arrivé en parfait état et avec 1 jour d'avance sur la date de livraison estimée. Seul bémol: les frais de livraison et les taxes sont élevés, mais si le service suit...

OVERSTOCK GARDEN ? NOOIT MEER ! Wij zijn de volgende in een blijkbaar lange reeks van gedupeerde consumenten van deze firma. Op 9 juni jl. kochten wij een lounge-set in de showroom te Schoten voor een totaalbedrag van bijna 3.000 EUR. Eerst maakte Overstock een fout in onze bestelling zodat wij genoegen moesten nemen met een alternatieve opstelling van de set, vervolgens stelden wij bij levering ervan vast dat één onderdeel van de set onaanvaardbaar van kleur verschilde tov de andere stukken. Via het beruchte klachtenformulier op hun website ontvingen wij na 5 dagen een standaard antwoord dat geenszins soelaas bracht voor het probleem (schamele schadevergoeding in verhouding tot de aankoopprijs, eventuele omwisseling helemaal zelf uit te voeren op eigen tijd en met eigen vervoermiddel…). Na wat zoekwerk vonden wij het zeer geheime telefoonnummer van de persoon die de standaardreplieken naar de gefopte klanten stuurt : 050 32 82 00 of volgens de plaatselijke verkoper in Schoten (die ons intussen ook liever kwijt is dan rijk) “extensie 603”. De persoon aan de lijn voert op ergerlijke wijze het hoge woord, duldt geen tegenargumenten, heeft nooit van een commerciële attitude gehoord, en nog minder van “client focus”, en is finaal gewoonweg bot. Goede raad : volhouden, sta op uw strepen, laat u niet afschepen. Neem een rechtsbijstands-verzekeraar onder de arm en lees ook even uw rechten die u gegeven worden in de “Garantiewet bij verkoop aan de consument” van 01/09/2004 !

These bad reviews are a mystery to me! Most of the home furnishings in my home are from Overstock, and I have never, ever once head a bad experience. On the rare occasion something arrived broken, the part or item was replaced with a minimum of effort on my part. I have been greatly pleased with almost every purchase, and never grossly displeased with anything.

I had bought furniture from them in the past and had no problems. This time I bought an armoire and it was completely garbage.. low quality, something I could of bought at wal mart . In addition it was missing screws and the closet seemed to be incomplete finished . Holes were missing when some screws where supposed to go ..so frustrated with the product I had to remove it out of my nursery to buy new one at last minute. Day before my schedule delivering of my baby. I called to complain about the inconvenience. Customer service very non emphatic. Said for me to send bk in its original box so I could get new one in return . Again very inconvenient at this point to deal with that .. needed new one ASAP..needless to say I bought better one that was complete at my local wal mart .. Never again will I order not one item from this over priced cheap product web site .waste of money and time waiting for delivery .

Hi Russell, I checked your review and then i made a purchase from the new website brandcruz.com, they really have good collections, i purchase queen size bed with a recliner sofa. Their delivery is pretty slow but the quality and their delivery is very smooth. Along with excellent customer support. Amazing, anyone who is looking for an alternative of Overstock is the best place. Thanks

Placed an order for 3 patio cushions on June 24. Payment through Paypal was processed on 6/30. Today is July 5 and my order is still in "processing". Much of the Overstock.com information supplied states that orders are shipped in 1 - 2 business days. Hopefully, the product will be acceptable or it may be next year before I can return and be reimbursed for the purchase. There are too many reliable sites to purchase from that truly do ship in a timely manner.
