I placed an order for a sleep buddy pillow through a Facebook ad 6 weeks ago and paid in full. Still waiting. No trust whatsiever in Overstocked and nobody trusts Facebook any more - me included. Will always use Amazon from now on. Suggest you do too.

Very unhappy with the customer service. I ordered a tv table that needed to be assembled. For a fee“The Porch “was recommended by Over stock to assemble the item .The day before assembly . I opened the box and at least 5 parts were missing.I called “The Porch”, they said I needed to report it to Over stock.They mentioned I would’ve been charged a $60 fee if they arrived and the parts were not all there and then I would be recharged when they return to assemble it after the parts arrived.I called overstock and asked to speak with a manager . The representative kept saying they could help me .After 10 minutes of holding they told me they were unable to get a manager to help me and it would take five days to get the new parts out to me .Big red flag when you can’t talk to a supervisor. No compensation for the mix up. They sent me two surveys and I stated the facts and that I would never use them again ,no response from them ever ...There is a lot of competition out there customer service goes along way I could never recommend them

I used to have good service from Overstock but my last TWO interactions with them have turned me away from them. I ordered and paid for a rug. DAYS later they texted me that they didn’t have the rug. The text seemed like spam. Then they told me it would days/week before I was refunded. Next, they said, I was lucky because they found a ‘similar’ rug (without discount). It was Not like what I ordered, ugly in fact. I purchased the rug I wanted from eBay & it’s beautiful. Later, I ordered a rug through Walmart from Overstock (free returns). Walmart is good about potential issues. The rug OS sent was Not as advertised or described. I would provide pics but no app here for attachments. Well, OS will accept it back Only if I pay shipping, telling me, “it is advertised that there might be some variation.” Not SOME. I didn’t recognize the rug. Will I shop at OS again? I want to but they have become a company of excuses, no, I am no longer a customer. (I need to add that after 7 days OS did not respond to my email through Walmart. I tried 3 times to reach them though direct & indirect means but it was Walmart who forced them to get in touch with me.)

DO NOT buy anything from Overstock. They try to nickel and dime you, horrible customer service, and their products are junk. First of all, their prices are jacked up. I found the same coffee table I purchased on their site for about $50 cheaper and they don't price match. They also sell damaged subpar good. I purchased a coffee table and the legs didn't screw in. When Hayneedle sent me crappy merchandise, they offered me a discount or to allow me to return it. Overstock reached out to the company who sold the item to get me some new parts then suggested I reach out to them myself. They told me that if I wanted to return it, I also had to contact the company that sold it. Overstock sold it to me so why I have to deal with a second company. Still haven't gotten an answer from the company over a week later. I also purchased pillows which were a different color and completely different texture than shown in the phone on the website. After asking to speak to a manager, the manager agreed that the color was different and the texture was different. He then refused to give me a free return shipping label sighting that it was still the same item I purchased even though he agreed it was a different color and texture. He said, "It's still in the white family." Anyone who knows home decor knows that Ivory and white are two different colors. These people sent me an item wasn't what the picture looked like and proceeded to try and nickel and dime me for shipping costs. UNREAL! Buy Amazon and save yourself the hassle. Their staff is rude and incompetent and does nothing to rectify the inconvenience and time they cost you.

Al 7 maal iets besteld waarvan 5 maal alles perfect in orde. Tweemaal was er een fout of lichte schade aan, zonder problemen kreeg ik nieuw geleverd. Weliswaar 1 x dat men een waardebon voorstelde, maar als je dit niet aanvaard, helpen ze je verder. Sommige mensen zullen daar misschien wel blij mee zijn. Ik werd in Schoten Home steeds zeer vriendelijk geholpen. Misschien een goede raad voor vele van u : lees eerst de voorwaarden goed of luister naar de uitleg van deze bekwame mensen. Als u standaard levering neemt, en niets wil bijbetalen, leveren ze inderdaad tot op de oprit. Wil je dit niet, betaal dan die enkele euro’s meer. Als je denkt geen antwoord te krijgen van de klantenservice, lees dan uw laatste mail van hen nog eens. Bij mij hadden ze de herheverdata vermeld, en waren ze in verwachting van mijn bevestiging. En als je via de website besteld, daar kunnen ze je in de winkel totaal niet mee helpen. Dat gaat recht naar een dienst op hun hoofdkantoor en in de winkel kunnen ze enkel bestellingen van hun zien. Als je daar problemen of vragen hebt, moet alles via de website. Zeer ongemakkelijk vind ik, geef mij maar de service in de winkel. Het is soms een rare manier van werken, maar waarmee men je kan helpen in de winkel, zullen ze ook hun best voor doen. Nog enkele van hun voordelen vind ik : zeer veel is in voorraad in tegenstelling van de andere concurrenten en je kan op een dikke week tijd al een volledig nieuwe eetkamer hebben. Nergens anders gevonden. Ze geven altijd wel iets van kortingen, maar op al de jaren dat ik er kom, nooit gezien dat ze eerst de prijzen verhogen om dan korting te geven, wie dat beweert is aartsdom, of wil iemand slecht maken met dikke leugens. De prijzen zijn zelfs al jaren niet veranderd. Mijn meubeltjes kosten nog steeds hetzelfde. En prijs/kwaliteit vind je nergens beter. Er is betere kwaliteit, maar dan is de prijs x 2. En er is goedkoper, maar dan is de kwaliteit beduidend lager. Ik denk dat we bij velen van jullie hier de versie van Overstock ook eens zouden moeten horen. Als ik al 7 leveringen, voor ca 15.000€ heb gehad en problemen steeds naar mijn voldoening zijn opgelost, denk ik dat niet iedereen hier alles eerlijk verteld. Er zullen zeker mensen zijn die niet voldoende geholpen zijn met problemen en die terecht niet tevreden zijn, maar dat zal wel een klein percentage zijn. En, je kan nooit voor iedereen goed doen. 3 van onze 4 kinderen hebben er ook al iets gekocht (salon, stoelen) en zijn er ook zeer tevreden van. BJ. Merksem

The customer service group at Overstock.com is far and away the best of the best. I always try to do my best to keep local merchants in business, but sometimes you've just got to go on-line. Overstock.com is at the top of my very short list of trusted on-line providers. As you may know, Overstock.com is an on-line retailer that represents hundreds, if not thousands of manufacturers of all sizes. I recently made an inquiry about a very specific, albeit obscure product and the good folks at the Overstock.com customer service group did not rest until they provided me with the answer I needed. As it turned out, I was unable to use the product, but Overstock did not try to sell me something I didn't need. This commitment to customer service is exceptional (in my personal experience). I'd recommend them without reservations.

I was a bit concerned after seeing the reviews here but I got my package in less than two weeks. I did contact customer service with some concerns about shipping. They were very friendly and professional with me. All in all a very positive experience. I don't quite get all the negative reviews here.

Inderdaad 1 ster is nog teveel. In Wetteren onbekwaam winkelpersoneel dat zijn producten niet kent.
