I will never order from this site again. Worst customer service ever! I ordered a vanity set for my daughter in white, however, the vanity that arrived was black. I attempted to call overstock and was greeted by a message that stated due to COVID they are not accepting phone calls but can be emailed or messaged. First of all I don't know what COVID 19 has to do with providing adequate customer service. Yes, things are hectic at this time, and many of our normal practices and ways of doing things have to be altered. However, companies are milking this epidemic as an excuse for bad service. It's unacceptable. I believe this is a large company so there should be a capability to accept phone calls remotely if the headquarters are closed. The messenger option is a joke. It is an automated message and not a live person on the other end. I just kept receiving the same message, I must have at least upward 40 of the same message in my inbox. When I switched to an email option, someone from Overstock contacted me, and basically said they can't do anything for me because the item is from one of their Marketplace sellers. Well come to find out, the seller is from China. It took over a week for them to respond to my email, and because of the time difference its always at 3am where I live. Once I get the message and respond, it takes another 9 days to hear a response. The marketplace seller never offered to send out the right color right away,instead they kept asking me for pictures. I sent pictures of the item to show it is in fact the wrong color, I received a response stating they need pictures of the box. I sent pictures of that too. Then I received an email stating they would send a replacement as soon as possible, but with no estimated time of arrival. I was never asked if i wanted to exchange or if i wanted a refund. Originally, I wanted to exchange for the right color, however, due to such horrible customer service and the length of time it has been taking up space in my home, I just want my money back. The marketplace emailed again saying they would return my money once they receive the item back (they sent a return label) however, I don't trust when they receive the item, they will return my money) however, I told them I woukd send the item back. A day later i received another email stating the item I ordered only comes in black and I must have made a mistake.. I have proof of the purchase with the color, description, and picture of the item. Shame on Overstock for having these scamming marketplace vendors. I will NEVER order fro. Overstock again. The item was called Costway Vanity FYI, do not buy. Pay special attention to print at bottom of order stating country of origin.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!! We ordered a ceiling fixture, the piece itself is beautiful. BUT it did not come with its hardware. I called that day to customer service and they said they would send me replacement hardware. 1.5 weeks go by with nothing. Call customer service again, he said they couldn’t send the hardware. I was never notified they weren’t going to send anything. So he told me he was going to send me a whole replacement piece, and when I received the replacement piece, I only take the hardware out, and I have to return the other piece. Total inconvenience. And terrible service for never telling me they just weren’t going to send anything.

Mensen pas op koop hier niet. Garantie is tot aan de deur. Lak van tafel en loungeset laten los terwijl deze pas net een half jaar oud is. Zij doen dit af als slijtage, echter is deze pas twee keer gebruikt. Ze komen aan met een lak stift en staalwol. Wij zeiden dat wij hiermee niet akkoord gaan, maar wordt toch opgestuurd. Heb dit op advies van onze advocaat geweigerd. Voor degene die dit ook krijgen, weigeren! Zo proberen zij het dat je akkoord bent gegaan. PAS OP hiermee want je verspeelt mogelijk je garantie. Wij hebben dit helaas uit handen gegeven omdat de klachten niet serieus worden genomen. Dit bedrijf is niet ok!

Their customer service is THE WORST I've ever encountered. They give a phone number but when called it says it won't be answered. They have a chat option but it's not a real person, just categorized crap that sends you right back to trying to figure out your problem via their minimal choices. I bought two rugs. One they sent to my new address in AZ, the other is going to my old address in FL. I had to pay UPS $40. to reroute because I couldn't get a hold of ANYONE at overstock. One star is way too much. I will NEVER order anything from them again.

I purchased 10 large rolls of Charmin toilet paper and it not only took 3 months to be delivered they delivered 10 small rolls of an off brand named "Lover" which I have never heard of or seen before and I payed $40 for that nonsense. I feel like they played a joke on me and I have been messed over. I wouldn't suggest ordering from this company and I never will again.

Purchased a mattress through overstock. When I received it it was nothing like advertised supposed to be firm but it was the softest flimizest mattress I've ever had. So no big deal I call them to start the return policy and was told this was a nonreturnable irem. Nowhere in their return policy does it say that. Knowing that they are a less than honest company I never would have purchased anything from them nor will I ever be buying anything from them ever again

I ordered a bed about a month ago, I received it on time with all the parts. When I opened the box with bed head it was damaged I called and was promised a replacement, and that they would email me with instructions in one or two days. Still waiting, now stuck with a bed that I am not able to use. SHAME ON YOU OVERSTOCK!! People spend their hard earned money and you treat like crap. So disrespectful.

I order a bunky board 10 days ago the payment was processed. Delivery date was finally set today between 6 to 6. Sat home all day waiting for the delivery. It is now 7pm no phone call no text no nothing. Tried to call customer service. The do not allow you to talk to a real person just text and email. Not only that but the item is now $100 cheaper. I have bought many things from Overstock.com. This is the last time I do business with this company. I doubt anyone at Overstock will reply or contact me in this regard. Your company is really heading in the wrong direction.
