Overstock.comReviews of overstock.com

If i were able to give this review 0 stars I would do so in a heartbeat. I ordered a purple Ottoman from them.I gave them the correct address and they end up shipping my item to Hershey, Pennsylvania and I live in NYC. I've been trying to get into contact with them for days and no luck. Do not order from this company; I should of came onto this website before ordering from them.

Terrible return policy. Tried to return an item they are charging $33 for a shipping lable. I only paid $80 for the item. This is my first and last experience with Overstock. Wish I had read the reviews before. There are too many websites to order what you need to deal with this company.

If I could I would give them zero stars!! I placed a order on May 14th and my item has yet shipped. And every time I’ve called/texted them I get a different response every time!! I’ve been told my order would ship in ten business days. Then after the ten business days was up, I’m being told 4-6 weeks to ship then I could take 2 weeks once it ships. I spent $2000 on a swing set for my daughter and can’t get a answer on where my item is or what’s going on! They said on April 27th they would contact there heavy department to see what’s going on. And they said 2 business days to get a response. And shocker, still no response!!! If I ever get this swing set, I’ll never ever order from this sorry company ever again. There customer service is the worst I’ve ever dealt with!!!! May 27, 2020 Six weeks today. And still no shipping update on my order. And no one can tell me anything. As usual. They just keep telling me someone will contact me in 1-2 business days. Which no one ever does. I don’t think it’s to much to figure out where my $2,000 swing set is. But apparently that’s to hard. May 28, 2020 It finally shipped!!! It says it will be here around Thursday (4th).

J'ai fait une commande au mois de mars et je n'ai aucun retour sur la commande. Très difficile d'avoir quelqu'un de sérieux en ligne. Évitez overstock

Lovely website but terrible service as most other guys on this platform reported. They wouldn't even let you submit a fair review on their website. You don't like a product and cancel it even before they shipped? Good luck! They wouldn't let you do that. Try a return, and they will charge you exorbitant amount for return label or you have choice to deal with return yourself. Have never seen such a terrible service here in America before. Never ever buying from them again. Customer representative reached out to me and helped fix the issues, but it's worth still noting that they charge quite a big amount for returns. They could be a great company if they had a local rep to talk to and if they would cover the return shipping cost so that customers do not start comparing them to Amazon (Prime ofcourse). After the issue was resolved, I have changed the rating to 3 stars and hope the company will do something to change the sentiments of their customers. Apart from this they should also make sure their pricing is not 100s of dollars different than their customers using intelligent AI tech if possible. This world is for the fittest..."survival of the fittest", if you don't stay competitive you will perish.

I ordered an expensive couch on April 23, 2019. My daughter in law had one which I loved so I ordered it from Overstock.com. The cushions immediately were very spongy and would show your "butt print" when you stood up. But, I went with it, turning the cushions over every few days. About 11 months after getting the couch, I noticed one of the cushion covers opened at the back and when I tried to zip it back up, the zipper came off in my hand. I contacted Overstock about this problem and I even sent pictures. I was treated very rudely by the staff--they said I should have bought a warranty otherwise, they couldn't help me. WHO BUYS A WARRANTY FOR A COUCH??? I tried to contact them many times to plead my case but after the COVID-19 happened, the message said customer service agents were working from home and could only receive texts or emails. Don.t phones work at these people's homes??? I tried all of the above and they just basically blew me off. I will never order from this fraudulent company ever again since they don't stand behind their products. There is no Customer Care at Overstock.com.
